SINGER:Harini( i think dis her first song its really wonderfull song.Good job done by HArini.that song nice 2 here from harini voice.
MUSIC:A R Rahman

AND SONG:Narumugaiyae & Roja Roja
SINGERS:Unnikrishnan & (UNKNOWN)-Unnikrishnan
both songs really nice i think unnikrishnan derseve 2 get nation award for both songs.he has done really nice job.

  Why "Vidai Kodu enkal Naadae" didnt get any award? I would say it is the best song i heard so far!Music is melodious and touching so is the lyrics and super singing by MSV,Balram and Sujatha.

  The song "Evano Oruvan" from the Movie "Alaipayuthe" really deserved a national award for ARR, Swarnalatha and Vairamuthu. It was a great effort from everyone of them which was not given the recognition it deserves. The song rendered by Swarnalatha was far superior than the performance of Bavatharini for "Bharathi" to get a national award. (Looks like IR purchased the award for a hefty amount - People knowing IR says!!!)

  Unnai thotta thendral (from Unna nenachen paattu padichen - good rendition by Swarnalatha)
  Mannava Mannava (from Walter Vetrivel by Sunanda)
  a solo song in 'Nandu' by Uma Ramanan (can somebody throw light on the song)
  Endhan kural kaettu (gokulathil seethai by Chithra)
  Kanave kalaiyaadhe (Kannedhire thondrinaal - beautiful rendition by Unnikrishnan and Chithra(what melody in their voices!)

  Ensoy, if you are able to have a good sense of judgement, you can see the difference in the quality of performance between "Alaipayuthe" and "Bharathi". It is good to be a fan, but not a fanatic. Judge the quality sensibly and in a rational way!! If you still say that Swarnalatha performed less better than Bavatharini, then I am sorry to say that you have a very poor sense of music.

  Now ARR camp keep shouting that juries have better sense of music that's KM got music award with special mention about BGM, you mean to say the juries now have better sense, but the juries who select Bhava song is bad.
  Since you compared AP & Bharathi, being acute music sense man, which one will get award for Md?

  Speaker>> It is not that I belong to ARR camp or IR camp or any other's camp. I appreciate everyone's music. You can judge for yourself about the quality of the songs and make out the difference between Swarnalatha and Bhavatharini. I don't mean to say she is a bad singer, but Swarnalatha is a better singer. But to tell you the fact, I learnt the fact from people who knows IR for more than 2 decades. When you want me to compare AP and Bharathi, I would definitely vote for AP for the quality of the songs and also for the re-recording. It was not an usual ARR re-recording where he normally doesn't reach up to the mark.
