Bit Songs

Somehow, a trend of having 'bit' songs in a movie has come to stay. Can we have a list as well as "Whodunnit"?

  ashok, a 'bit song' is a one which is very short or has a maximum of one charanam. you can check out all the songs listed here which come under this category.

  correct' vj...there is a 2nd charanam with just 4 lines..since the song has a long music sequence after the first charanam..cudnt guess there was a 2nd charanam at all...well 2 more to the list.

  these thukkada paadals have been there from olden days onwards.   Well I have observed that bit songs by Ilaiyaraaja are are more melodius and touching too.
  
  Like dalapathi dalapathi in Movie-Dalapathi
  Tenpandi chemayele... in Movie-Nayagan

  yeah Kupps... but that was an era where every movie had about 40+ songs ... and it slowly changed to "2 charanam" format with a standard of 5-6 songs per movie... the use of "bit" songs slowly came back but in addition to the normal 5-6 format... so this discussion is with related to that. :-) and we're tracing out "whodunnit"

  It's from 12B. Normally, the only way to get those songs is to get the DVD and rip them off using a Audio ripper.
