  I am probably one of those guys who wants to attract attention by misbehaving only to prove that he too can behave well when somebody's paying attention ! Gee, I frighten myself with my 'intelligence' - should've been a psycholanalyst ! Reading some of my older posts, I felt it was a little bit like a kid sulking ! But I am glad that I am able to feel so passionate about something in life ! There are some things that you stick by in life, no matter what opposition or criticism it raises. That's my Holy Grail. But sometimes you've got to make out like an idiot. This thread serves the purpose just fine :-)))) This reminds me of cartoon (R.K.Laxman ?) that came out when Raj Mohan Gandhi first announced his candidature against Rajiv Gandhi in Amethi. The caption was "I bet my grandpa could've licked your grandpa !" :-)))

  Srinath, that cartoon was funny as hell. I saw a modern version on billboards for a Levi's ad directed at Calvin Klein's sticky models...where some buffy leather-clad guys stare menacingly. The caption reads,"Our models can beat up their models."
  Okay, now someone really has to go after ARR to spill some venom there too. In the eyes of satire no one is holy.

  probably know how jealous the ARR fans would feel about the guy

  New Micro-Budget Movie

  Let me come to the FLASEST NEWS from KOLLIWOOD:
  
  After incurring lose for the MEGA-BUDGET Jeans movie, Shankar has
  agreed todo a VERY-LOW-MICRO-BUDGET movie for Amirthraj.
  
  The name of the movie is "kathar"
  
  ( "kAthi" as an alteranate name is also under suggestion to reduce
  poster printing expenses)
  
  Regarding cost cutting measures and to make Kathar another musical hit
  Amirthraj has the following startegies...
  
  Introducing the new MD
  -----------------------
  
  Since ARR is very expensive, Shanker preferred Deva.
  
  After hearing Amrithraj saying ....
  
  Why waste money paying more to Deva, when his BROTHER can do
  the same for less!!!
  
  Deva's brother will be introduced as a new upcoming
  MD - who will recycle the original tunes of ARR from Jeans.

  ARR has requested that due credits should be given to him
  in the titles of Kathar by saying "Originals modified from Jeans"

  Amazed by the "Who is going to be the MD for MArudhanayagam" thread's
  speculations & enthusiasam and Kamal's tactics, Amirtharaj has planned
  to play the "guess-who-the-MD-for-the-movie" game and will NOT
  release the secret of WHICH BROTHER OF DEVA would be the MD
  for Kathar.
  
  So many speculatiions & rumors are flying in the industry.
  At this point, I would like to request the DF organizers to add a
  SEMI-Permanent thread with topic:
  
  "Is it Subesh OR Murali OR the 3rd unknown Bro!!"
  
  So that we can do postings like.....
  
  "athAndA ithAndA" song's
  3rd line was the inspiration/input of Subesh and the
  4th line was the inspiration/input of Murali.
  
  And is VERY VERY CLEAR that the 3rd line is the copy of
  some IR's "so-so" song and the 4th line was the ditto of
  ARR's "blah-blah" song - which clearly proves that
  
  Subesh has better quality & standard of music by copying IR music
  rather than copying ARR's music.

  The challenge to new MD
  -----------------------
  Based on severe cost cutting suggestions,
  previously captured, all the seven wonders scenes will be
  over-lapped with one wonder over other and the people will be
  wondering what wonder they are seeing and the result will be a
  7 factorial (7!) wonders.
  
  This "factorial wonders" song is going to require challenging music
  of STATE-OF-THE-ART-CUT-N-PASTE-RE-SHUFFLE-COMBO for DEV BRO
  - an industrsy analyst quoted.
  
  (one DF regular-adithadi-hee_hoo_haa-fan thinks....

  of this song,,HAAAA..HAAA)
  
  What about the Lyricks ?

  VM will do the lyrics by taking less money - by just
  reshuffling the original words and NOT BREAKING HIS HEAD
  (which is the main cost factor)

  Seems like there is a compromise with some suttum-sudAtha-pazams

  Since a weak story line was the main reason for Jeans failure,
  Kathar will have a STRONG story line...Shankar said
  in Kathalikka nEramillai Nagesh style:

  for example
  
  In regular Tamil movies about Twins, other people always get
  confused about who is who - except MGR movies were
  a thick beard or big scar on the face will differntiate.
  
  In Kathar,
  
  the twin Prasanths, themselves will get confused who is who
  and they goto Nasar for help - who will start a flashback(I)
  on how he used to resolve it when Prasanths' were kids.
  During this kids flashback, Nasar will himself do another
  flashback(II) on how the twin Nasars' used to resolve
  their doubts on who is who.
  
  This "flashback-within-flashback" is a new concept which will be
  the main back-bone of the moview and I AM REALLY counting on
  DEVA'S BRO todo a great job with BGM while shifting between
  and looping thru different flshbacks.
  If you are a keen observer of BGM, just by listening to it
  you will find out at which 'Nth' flashback is going on.
  
  (Industry pistha-critic said "hmmm, it is going to be another
  Back to the Future" )

  Looks like Kathar has completely replaced the media hype of Marudhanayagam.
  
  
  Soon DEVA'sBRO may start the thread "How to remix/re-produce ARR songs" just to get
  DF's techno pithas' inputs.
  
  Looking forward to more threads about Kathar.
