IR & ARR Fans:Answer Together

Is technology the only area where ARR excels IR?
Can ARR create music with natural instruments?
If ARR is soo great why cudnt he give a good background score?
Why ARR songs dont stand the test of time as IR's or MSV's???
What has ARR done to TFM in this 10 years which other MD's
failed to do?
Can he create complex music as IR?Complex here i mean multiple
layers one above the other..

If IR is genius then why is he not a hot cake now?Why cudnt he give
music which suits the taste of present generation?Does IR fans enjoy
his present music the same way as they enjoy his 80's classics?Why
IR fans are mostly fanatics?Why people who know carnatic or western
or instrument players have high regards for IR?What shud IR do in
the future?Continue with TFM or create albums like HTNI & NBW?

  Can ARR create music with natural instruments? Surely he can. If he cannot then that means that ARR's computer and other gadgets actually create music and ARR is just a feeder(is this term correct?). I have no idea that such computer and gadgets exist to create such novel music. But the question could be "if ARR creates music in conventional way, without using all these computers and other gadgets and use only natural instruments, will that music be appealing to the people?". It is subjective as well as unimaginable(atleast to me). So I cannot answer this question.

  A genius is not necessary a MASS appealing person ALWAYS. IR was a Genius and was a Mass appealing person for entire tamilnadu till very early 90s. IR is still a Genius and still an appealing person for atleast a group of people, even now.

  hey i tell you we indians can kick As%, we are all supposed to be good computers gigs. now 50% of these gigs are in Thinai (including me), thanks to the US recession, I am going to get a dell p4 2ghz, and start making music and throw arr out...

  I like to think of ARR's music as "onion".It has all the important layers(which amounts to everyting) and nothing(after it's peeled).Didn't Rishis in ancient times say "GOD is everything and nothing".:)

  Very stupid to say that ARR's music cannot stand the test of time...just yesterday was testing out a friend's new music system by playing many hits from Roja to PP....ARR is a genius too....if u dont think so...then you are biased.

  ARR is a genius too....if u dont think so...then you are biased. -- cosmician, isn't this a biased opinion? u mean to say only if somebody accepts ARR as genius that somebody is unbiased. Everybody is entitled to have their own opinion. We cannot claim somebody is biased if that person doesn't endorse our view that Mozart, Beethovan, Thyagaiah etc are Geniuses.

  Moreover why did you bring in the haven of fighting -- the word Genius at all? It is not necessary to be a Genius for one's outputs to stand the test of time. Also not all Geniuses' outputs stood test of time.

  what i mean by Complex music is by whatever i have heard in IR's music i could find a melody played first then one more melody over it and then another over it..i could track some three melodies overlapping each other..for example first a set of violins then a flute over it and then a veena..like that..i think u cud understand it..I couldnt find this structure in ARR's where mostly only a sigle instrument(Ex.Flute) takes the lead..
  Creating complex music as i have mentioned above is more tough for a MD..right?

  Lets leave the natural instruments thing..Does ARR have the ability for a good orchestrator?Can he create a song like "Andhi mazhai" or "Thalatuhey Vaanam"?Is managing a big count of players a easy thing than sitting in front of the computer and doing permutations and combinations?

  Don't you think it is better to get to the root of the problem?If I'm right Cosmician was replying to someone else's bias.So now aren't you being biased by catching "Cosmician's bias" rather than what originated his bias?:-)

  But, you see, when somebody doesn't feel X as Genius then that doesn't hold enough evidence to prove that, that "somebody" is biased (either inclined towards X's rival or biased against X). That "somebody" could very well have had high opinion about X but still doesn't consider X to be a Genius. So do you think that Cosmician was right in infering/deciding that "somebody" to be biased?
  
  On the otherhand carefully look at cosmician's point -- he wanted that "somebody" to consider X to be a Genius and ONLY THEN that "somebody" is UN-BIASED. Isn't this feeling of cosmician biased? And do you still feel that "somebody's" stand can be completely judged to be biased based on this very few evidence?

  the bottom line to this thread.
  
  ARR is a dum fellow, he uses computer,
  this is the logic of the creator of this thread,
  
  we all type here using a computer (there are some genius here who use telepathy to send data to newtfmpage, so they need not be counted here),
  
  we are also dum like ARR because computer types automatically using permutation, we just sit in the front of the monitor and watch how well the computer creates words using permuations and combinations. Some computer are IR fans some computera are arr fans. Some computers dont not take sides. so it all the "dam" computers that post biased opinions here.

  The bias one feels can never be exactly understood by another person.For this person each person's perception of a bias is ususally different unless we very badly want our bias to be upheld universally.

  Just try ruminating on these two statements for some time.It seems more biased if it's assumed that people read other threads too before coming here.Based on that this establishes something as a fact too.Anyway, I don't want to get into specifics which may propel this thread into intense "ARR Vs IR".I think any following statement needs to be taken based on the thread's title and title statement.

  IR is not Genius and his works are useless that doesn't impress anybody. IR should run away from TFM. IR Fans are all fanatics abusing everyone else who are all "Intelligent", "Sensible", "Knowledgeble".
  
  Hence we can safely conclude that peeps is Postive scheziopheric...blah..blah who neither like IR nor ARR.

  And i didnt meant that eh shud run away from TFM..want to know from IR fans what are they expecting from him..
  and again u misunderstood me..I am just curious to know why IR has soo many fanatics..i have seen in this TFM DF many IR fanatics..why they are soo loyal to him?Is that his music has created that much impact on them?
  And no one has answered the question regarding why instrument players and carnatic lovers have high regards for IR..does anyone felt the same way as i felt?
  For ARR fans,
  Has ARR touched any specific carnatic raga which IR has not touched?
