Best Piano songs!

Hi,
I wish to share some of the songs that has best piano bits. my favourites are:
1. guruvayoorappa- starting ....really amazin
stuff from puthu puthu arthangal.
2. then madurai vaigai nadi- tharmathin thalaivan.
3. ival oru ilanguruvu- bramma
4. thenrale- kaadhal desam.
5. yen vanile- johny
6. anjali anjali- duet
there are lot more. i wish to hear fom you guys. wat i have mentioned here is out of the arr/ir clash. jus the greatness of music. try to listen again with this intention. u wil feel the magic in these songs...
please do come up with good piano songs!

  MY favorite is "Nee Partha Paarvai" in Hey Ram. It is an amazing mix of piano,flute and violin. Impeccable and Uncomparale....Yet,lot of people are saying that Hey Ram songs are not good

  uannai onru ketpen-where sivaji plays piano, trumpet and what not..

  'ellOrum nalam vAzha nAn pAduvEn' from 'enga mAmA' has a good usage of piano. 'varavENdum oru pozhuthu' from 'kalai kOyil' is another one.

  In the movie "Chinna Thambi Periya Thambi" starring Prabhu and Sathayaraj, there is a Piano Song, where the situation is Nadhiya plays the piano and sings. This SOng is beautiful, I just forgot the name of the song. Have any of you heard it???

  The song is "thaniril nanaindha pookal mella sirikka".
  
  Sometime back anandha vikatan carried an interview with many MD's (ir wasn't there) asking them their favorite instrument. ARR mentioned piano. He quoted the example of vennilave vennilave where the song situation was two friends becoming lovers . He said that the piano helped him a lot.

  Does any one know if Unnedam Mayangugiren by V.Kumar is original or some kind of lift from an English song. The piano arrangement is too good on this song. If it is original, all praises to V kumar for the great work and it is one of my all time favourites.
  
  However, I still cannot find a simpler yet scintillating Piano work in Envannille (Johnny).

  Probably the best Piano piece that I heard of is indeed Envanilae in Johnny.
  
  There is one rare IR song, "Yaar Thoorihai Thantha Oviyam," in movie Yaaro Azhaikkirarhal..(I think, song by KJY and Janaki in two versions) with amazing piano interludes.
  
  The one song in HeyRam probaly the best IR's piano piece with respect to extensive use of piano throughout the song.
  
  As I write this, I am listening to IR's "Azhahu Aayiram.. in Ullasaparavaihal. The start and the interludes have some short magical Piano bits. In the same movie, "Naanunthan Thayaha Vendum.." has some interesting Piano bits, but mixed with amazing flute and violin pieces. One needs a well recorded version to enjoy these fully.
  
  I have a question: Have anyone listened to "Veththala Veththalayo..in Rosappo Ravikkakari..The background beat sounds to me as piano used in a very unconcentional way. The beats also roll in scales somtimes over and over again very similar to that done in piano playing. I can't think of an instrument that produced the sound I hear in that song. Any ideas ?

  Yaar thoorigai is from Paaru Paaru Pattanam Paaru (Mohan). Its in pure Lathangi. There is another song in this movie Thendral varum, ennai azhaikkum, which also has very good piano in 2nd interlude.

  First 2 albums had all very good songs, unfortunately went unnoticed. Great melodies. If any of you have not listened, please listen to it.

  Not that I know of. I have the CD from Prince's Music Service titled, "Ilayarajavin Innisai Mazhai," with the lable INRECO on it. Catalogue No. is: CD PIN 510. It has three songs from Ullasa Paravaihal including the one I talked about....decent recording, since it is a remastered one with analogue tape recorder. I would certainly recommend it. The CD also has an amazing collection of IR songs of early 80s. Contact address:

  The other alternative is to find some obscure recording place in Madras/Trichy/Salem and record it from original record. If I recall correctly, the record was INRECO in stereo. This would be other option.

  By the way, can anyone suggest whether there is a place I can buy such record disks that came out in 80s? I would like to see if I can remaster them myself into CDs.
