Who is This Rajesh?

Did anyone of u guys listen to 'Ra Ra Raja kumara' from Ennavale by SAR? At first, I thought it was SPB Charan, who has a youthful SPB voice, but found out at Raaga.com, that its sung by someone called Rajesh. I felt he is trying to emulate SPB style of singing. But nevertheless, has a sweet voice...anyone has info on him?

  Rajesh was introduced by Sandeep chowta in 'ninne pelladatha'. He tries to imitate SPB and does a better job than Mano in this genre.'eto veLLi poindhi manasu' from NP is a very good song by Rajesh.

  Rajesh is a Kannadiga,his full name is Rajesh Krishnan, he is juniour SPB in kannada.I recently heard a song from the Tamil movie "MAYEE",sung by Rajesh and SJ(Megam Tuditthu,sorry I am not a Tamilian).And he is the Son-in-law of BK.Sumitra(famous Folk singer in Karnataka)

  Rajesh has also sung most of the songs in Sandeep Chowta's another telugu film, Prema Katha, directed by Ram Gopal Verma. Sings mostly like a SPB clone but pretty versatile.
  
  But I'd really not rate him more than Mano. Mano is far better and has much more experience in the industry. On that note, I was woindering about one thing.
  
  IR used SPB in Geetanjali while it was Mano who did every song in its tamil version, Idhayathai Thirudathey. Any specific reason attributed to this?

  I had the same question :-) Another example is 'Indiradu Chandiradu' - SPB did all the telugu songs and Mano, all tamil songs.,
  
  I saw one SPB Interview in DoorDarshan two days back, he was mentioning about this Mayor song in Indiradu ... and told that after singing that 'thoNdai suththamaa kattip poochchu' :-) Probably thats why he refused to sing that in tamil ????

  SPB, Mano, Arulmozhi, Napolean, SPB Charan, and many many more etc., etc., who are replica singers like SPB. Infact, some do it far better and makes us think whether it is SPB who is singing.
  
  Rajesh is yet another in that clout. This monotony of voice is abundant with SPB, whereas TMS or Sirkazhi or PBS had a clear identity of their voices, which even his followers couldnt match. They can be easily made out. That is the reason why Rajesh is mistaken for SPB. He has certainly done a good job.

  i love rajesh krishnan for his deep voice. i don't think that he imitates SPB. his trained voice is good especially for bhajans and gazhals.i wish to see what he looks like. but there is not even a single snap of him in the net.
  i loved him for the bhajan he has sung in the film bollywood hollywood. i've become addicted to that song. i listen to it atleast 20 times a day.

  He sings a lot in Telugu nowadays particularly for R.P.Patnaik who is the leading MD in telugu. by the way, this guy R.P.Patnaik never uses SPB which is very rare in telugu.

  Rajesh started as a track singer in Kannada and has sung thousands of songs. He started playback singing in Kannada and then is now the leading male playback singer in Kannada. He also sings in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi but not many. He has won the Karnataka state award for best male playback singer several times. He is currently starring in a Telugu movie "Ore Nee Prema Bangaram" playing the lead role.

  It is true that he is the great grand son of music legend G.Ramanathan.

  Yes i found the site after a quick search, oh yea i do know rajesh as my cousin s/o Meera & NNK Muurthy. I remember his childhood days when he used to play the violin and also practice his singing those early mornings and then he used to sing this one song i remember from " Hoga Tumse Pyara Kaun Humko to Tumse Hai Kanchi Pyaar..." I think if rajesh does see this posting he wil probably know the song in a jiffy.... I wish him all the best with his acting career.

  The bhajan in Bollywood Hollywood displays only a fraction of Rajesh's versatility in terms of voice modulation. I still remember his first ever hindi pop album which had the first song as "aa jaa, raat hai meherbaan" I attended that recording as a kid...seems like a dream now!!!

  I am Pavithra,a M.C.A student and a kannadiga residing in Bangalore.I am Rajesh's fan from past 9 yrs.His first song which impressed me was "O Kusuma ve" since then I love listening to him.He is really lucky for being gifted with a cute voice and also with a smartlook-he is very handsome.Listening to his songs is my favorite hobby and he is my solo favorite siger.He has also worked as a dubbing artiste for Kannada movies like "Nanna preethiya hudugi", "Paris Pranaya"-His voice is marvellous.He has also won Karnataka state award for three times.He is a popular and well known singer here in Kannada film industry and has sung number of hit songs.He is also acting in a kannada movie titled "Santosha" which is set to hit the screen in November.Some say that he imitates SPB.But I totally disagree with that.He sings in his own style and is a truly versatile singer.I don't know much abt his personal life.As per the info given by our friends in this site-He is the son-in-law of B.K.Sumithra.Then in that case he should have married the only daugther of BKS i.e Soumya,she is also a play back singer.But one of our friends say that now he is the ex son-in-law of BKS in that case is he a divorcee?Friends could u plz share info regarding this issue if u know.
