sorry, couldnot get back to you earlier. "SLEDAI' is a type of poetry where you say two things in one word. Isn't it a great poetry to package perfect voyeurism in the sales song of a country girl.That too in 3 stanzas. The song is a great poem but only the picturisation was vulgar thanks to KSG and Nirmala. KaLamegam is a poet who wrote abusive language and then explained how it is in praise of Lord Shiva.I too tried to compose some poem in vain to show others as perverts. I know how difficult it is. Dhakoonoondu elanthappayam eppadi ellarayum kiranga adikkuthungarathuthaan phil.

SK, What about a puraaNa paadal week? Obviously, most of them would be from the KVM-APN combo. But there are some excellent movies by MSV like Ganga Gowri (and Karnan ofcourse).

somehow I feel " vaanil muzhu madhiyai kaNdEn" , " thillai ambala nataraja" and a mallu song "manjalayil mungi thOrthi" are very similar in tune. Any opinions ?

excellent presentation of TMS-PS numbers. I just love to listen to kalyAna vaLayOsai koNdu from urimaik kural over and over and ..., another example of vAththiyAr songs' grandeur! The interludes are so refreshing and tune is invigorating. I think the lyrics were penned by vaali for this song. The kavithai nadai speaks for his distinction .

1) Geetha Oru Naal Pazhahum Vuravalla Kadhal Neeril Thondrum Nizhalalla.....

2) Malai Malar Pandhalitta Meham Mangai Idam Sangolikkum Raham.....
(A very nice melody by Vani Jeyaram...probably will remind the song Kamal-Sridevi "Chippi Irukkudhu Muthum Irukkudhu Thirandhu Parka Neramilladi Rajathi...")

3) Ponnana Manam Engu Pohinradhu Sollungal Mehangalae En Aasai Kannan Naal Parthu Vandhan....

Please let me know if the movie for which this song was composed, is "SuryaKanthi".
