  Dear friends:
  
  I work in a factory in Rangoon. There are about 300 people who are employed here and abour 250 of us are Tamils. 90% of us believe that only SPB has bass in muthalan kattai as well as ettan kattai.
  
  We spend a lot of time on the company computers, on the newtfmpage. 54.124.150 is the DHCP for our company. Even though our boss is not a Tamil, he lets us use the comuters to have fun.

  There is term in Object Oriented Programming (OOP), like c++/Java called polymorphism, which means one function with different names, we see living example, here the Function name is
  (DHCP @64.124.150.136), which is functioning under the virtual name of Raghuvaran(@64.124.150.136) & superman (@ 64.124.150.136), what an idiot, have some logics or logical thinking b4 trying to be smart!!!

  It is excellent a bit like rasigha rasigha from star, but SPB brings even a better bass, swarnalatha also sings it well, I hope ARR uses SPB in his next film of K.Balachandar!!!

  I am so glad 2 see so many SPB fans with So many threads about this awesome voice of Padmashree Dr. SPB, please ignore some ignorant idiots like bharath & Doubter, do not bother replying to them, if you do, they will reply with more garbage.
  
  Now coming back to SPBji , he is the greatest singer in India today, no doubt he has achieved a lot more than the late gem, M.rafi, he has crossed 40,000 songs in 35 years In business, that is a staggering 3 songs a day!!!.
  
  He is nothing but a pure gift of god, as Indian we must all be proud of him. One draw back of SPB is being south Indian, which meant that even though he is better than M.rafi, he is not as famous as M.rafi, which is shame, if he was northie, he would have been more famous than M.rafi, by the M.rafi’s favourite singer is SPB, & SPB’s favourite is M.rafi ,KJY & S.janaki.
  
  He has till date 13 national awards along with KJY, no other singers in Indian History had it or has it now. Besides singing he also dub voices for Kamal, Mohan, NR & few other telugu actors.
  
  In terms of his voice, well every body knows this, he is the ultimate in India today. At 55 he sounds like 25, definition of his voice
  
  1) Heavy bass / manly voice
  2) Only singer along with M.rafi &lata who can sing at the highest pitch (37th Key)
  3) Excellent modulation
  4) Excellent expression of emotions
  5) Ability to sing in 1-37 keys,, even KJY can not do that!!!
  
  
  But now, ARR bought some singers who were singing in streets, clubs & funerals, like HH, what the heck what nasal idiot, Udit son of the great nasalist in the world Kumar sanu, unnikrishnan, nasal & femine voice, srinivas nasal blocked voice, it is very irritating to listen to these idiots. These would not even survive another two years, some singers who sings in bathrooms will come soon,only god knows

  I have recently started posting on this page. Actually I am not a Tamilian, but still I love Tamil songs.
  
  I have gone through the entire discussion in this thread.
  SPB is no doubt a great singer. he recently got an award from Sur Singar Parishad for a semiclassical song by Naushad (in Hindi). I have loved his ShankarabhharaNam very much.
  
  However, I am puzzled to see a guy posting idiotic praises about SPB using atleast 100 names and really undermining other singers. And repeating the same points atleast 20 times. And in such a prejudiced way!
  Frankly, this person needs psychiatric treatment.
  SPB is great, maybe even the greatest, but then Rafi,Yesudas and even Hariharan are great singers in their own right, isn it? They are all unique in some way, why waste time comparing like this.
  
  I have heard Naushad is going to take Hariharan gor his new film "taj Mahal" for all semiclassical songs.
  
  Hariharan is a Tamilian, but listen to his ghazals. (Digression: I feel Tamilians are extremely broad-minded people who quickly appreciate other cultures . Hariharan is one example of this)
  
  I am sure SPB himself will praise Hariharan.
  
  One definitely should praise SPB - I have begun listening to him more and more - but in that process one should not pass poor and boorish remarks about Rafi.
  
  Sorry, if I have hurt anyone, but I feel this genuinely.

  excuse me all, i am one among several crore fan of spb, one among the greatest in the world and the best in India with a god given voice.
  i am using only one thread 209.9.etc. there is no need for me to use different threads. it goes to show the popularity of the living genius when several threads are on him and not on rafi,kishore, tms,mukesh,hari,etc. only those who cannot digest that spb is the greatest comes out with stupid thinking and says that some of the articles are from the same person in different names. I am fan and fan and only spb fan. not fan of some tom,jick and harry and live in tamilnadu and not in paris,perth,usa,etc

  aguvaran,212. . i am listening to the genius since 1968 and evey type of song has been sung so well by this genius that he has become incomparable.even the song from is quite good. since spb sings very rarely these days in tamil, almost all his songs become instant hits
