YSR as he has 15+ movies in hand, and although maybe his movies have not been hit movies, all of the songs for all of his movies have been hits. Take for Example, Dheena, Poovellam Kettupar, Nandha, Junior Senior, and most recentley Thulluvadho Ilamai.
He has Shyam's new film, Prashanth's new film, Srikanth's new film and many more big name movies coming up for release.

Serious mode again,

I feel No. 1 MD in TFM is totally 'Subjective', If you go by the Number of (active) Films, It will be YSR or Bharadwaj .. Deva Will come next I suppose.

If you go by the HIT frequency (%age Hits / Number of Songs), it will be ARR, HJ, VidyaSagar, YSR and Bharadwaj (in the same order)

One guy with the potential to become No. 1 is Vidyasagar, I don't know what is wrong with him / his music - he seems to be missing his bus always !

PS : I haven't included IR's name in all these because, (To be Honest) I believe he can't really competete with these guys in terms of 'number of cassettes sold' or 'number of movies at hand', (Kaasi was an exception)

Ofcourse, I am not denying the contribution he is making with good songs / BGM, But if the Question is No. 1 commercial MD ... I don't think he is in the race anymore.

I Think its all mixed up earlier.... it was IR , then AR...but presently its fluctuating...all are giving good hits...IR,AR,YSR,DEVA,BHARADWAJ all !!

In Raghus equation only ARR has a+ve value!
YSR,VS,BW all have big negative values and in the final summation even IR will end up with a big negative value.

Clever, but you missed the funda of complex numbers! :-)

Now imagine ARR = 10
YSR = -10 + j (where j is the square root of -1, we shall be taking complex numbers)
VIDYA = 2j
BHARADWAJ = 3j

So ARR + YSR + VIDYA + BHARADWAJ = 6j.

So IR = (6j)^2 = -36.
But ARR = 10

So ARR is still > IR :-)
