The income tax department in Tamil Nadu has forged an alliance with film stars to popularise various IT schemes to appeal to the public to file their tax returns without fail.

The two-minute publicity film Jingles is directed by Shankar and stars Kamal Haasan and Sneha. Sukumari acts as Kamal Haasan's mother in the film. Vairamuthu has penned the lyrics and Ilayaraja has scored the background music. Actor-turned-activist Partheepan is the film's narrator.

What a different combination of TFM.

  I am an IR fan, but like to listen to good music. ARR disappoints more nowadays than IR...

  Really fun seeing all the 'silvarre kannum jattiye kannum' odduran vaitheruchals. Take it easy :)
  
  Why must you be so stressed out if IR ever works with Shankar or MR or Kamal or Rajni or even Speilberg? You see...IR don't need no high profile ppl to be associated with in order to do what he does best. For all you want, you can go ahead to dis-associate him with anyone or associate him with anyone. I/we don't care. We don't take it a big deal if suddenly he is associated with some high profile director better still an ARR loyalist. You must remember that IR is not ARR. He does need hype & stunts to do what he does best.
  
  Hope that puts all panic stricken vaitheruchals at ease. So don't feel threatened that YOUR Shankar is running to IR. I/we IR fans don't take this a big deal.

  you give a 2 minute documentary film to IR and ask him to prove? What is there to prove in 2 minutes... IR did team up with Kamal in heyram and he did a wonderful job...you guys couldn't even appreciate that. Now looking for a chance to bash IR once again? Even if IR does a good job in this short film, you are not going to
  accept that. So what's the big deal..
  
  Moreover, this so called dream team is doing this project for free and for a cause and there is certainly nothing commercial in it.

  Not me. Many HCIRFs have claimed that IR have not been able to deliver becuase he never got good story/director/lyricist, etc etc. So, here is his chance! :)
  I don't usually go around looking for IP id's, but in your case, I have to make an exception. You used to use some other name previously didn't you? I think such names would be more recognisable than alphabets, don't you think so?
