RajaG:
Hridaynath Mangeshkar's Meera Bhajan sung by Lata - It triggers nostalgia. Great singing and wonderful voice. I love the way you rendered this song. BB, thanks for capturing this one.
At my home, this one album was a lullaby for me when I was a kid. My Father play this on veena so mellifluos - this inspired me to practice these songs again. Thanks to both of you.
Regards,
Aditya

Sangeetha Sahithya...beautiful KharaharaPriya composed by great composer KV Mahadevan. Salute to RajaG to attempt this song -> Beautiful and flawless rendering. I don't know if he ever learnt to render kharaharapriya raga but singing this song proves something special about him.
Even a casual meeting at home, I wish I was there to relish it personally.

balaji thanks for sharing man.
RajaG great singing.
I enjoyed Shankara very much.
And Sangetha Shathiya was also superb.
Could see lot of Balamurali Krishnas influence on this song ;)

Hi all;
I am new to this thread, so please pardon my mistakes :)
I am an amateur singer, I have noticed that when I sing along, it's very good & fine, but if I listen to song on the tape & try and sing along with it, I go off the pitch & it sounds terrible, is that normal?
thanks

RajaG - Just saw the page withg songs sung by you. You have sung all those songs really beautifully. I understand that you are one of the seniormost members of this forum ( I am fairly new to this place ). It was nice hearing so many different types of songs in your melodious voice.
Thanks.

Swamiji: As always, superb work. I love the way you pay attention to every minute detail and incorporate it in the sequence. Did you use a separate drums kit or was it a pattern of some sort in Triton?

Thanks RajaG. For the drum track, I just played one measure and copied for the entire length of the song. Actually at one place in first interlude, I forgot the drum roll!!

Swamiji,
Great job, as ever!
It is a boon for us, to see how these
master pieces are put together - the counterpoints and the slap-work! Especially, the piano interlude and the vertigo-ish string interlude are amazing midi bests! Keep it up!
And keep making more...

sudharshan,
i listened to varavENdum varavENdum thAyE. good singing. seems to be heavily influenced by SPB (as tho' one could avoid it :-) ). didn't get a chance to listen to the others. will do so when i get some time. (this song comes through only one channel - left in the stereo mode; quite unsettling to listen to the whole song using a head-phone!)
