Aim : To discuss about the hit songs from modern theater's movies. Also to collect the list of best songs from Modern theaters.
I think already you would have discussed many songs of TMS & PS. But by this topic I would like to collect an album of songs from Modern theaters only. I hope TFM friends can help me. Advance wishes.

  about MT's 100th film Valavanukku Vallavan.
  
  in this suspense thriller(!!),
  the movie's hero and villain combination was different from their actuall image.
  yes! Gemini is the villain and Manogar is the hero. When MT approached Gemini, it was his suggestion to play the villain role inspite of his hero image.

  HMV has come up with golden songs series for singers and MDS, and one of them is - Veda - the melody king.
  It has good collection of songs from the modern theatres movies. It is a good buy. I bought it recently, when I was in madras.

  I did not see any cds, quite possible to be there. There are other goldern hours collections on - PS, MGR duets, Sivaji-TMS, Illayaraja ( good songs, but almost I have all of it), LR Easwari ( also good), and S. Janaki. Quality of the casettes are good.

  raju, the 2nd song is Poovinum Melliya Poongodi Ponniram Kaattum Paingili from Kannan Varuvaan, music by Shankar Ganesh, there are 2 versions of the song by TMS and PS, separately. I think Vijaya Kumari is the actress in Uyira Maanama, I'm not sure.
