Just that, it's quite some time since I started a list - so, wanted to do it with a bang :-)

Since Thamizh is what brings us together on these pages, shall we do a list of songs with the word "Thamizh" in them? Easy, isn't it? Anbaana vaasagargalukku oru vendukoaal. Let the word Thamizh be in the first or second line of the song - not hidden somewhere in the fourth line of the second stanza. Fair enough? Let's begin then...

Kannan - if I'm not mistaken, "udal maNNukku uyir thamizhukku" is more a kavithei than a song? Correct me if I'm wrong.

Amar - I think the song you mentioned is a part of a song and not the beginning of any. If I'm wrong then it must be from Yezhavathu Manithan.

The song you mentioned, I think, is from the movie "Kanthan Karunai" and sung by either Soolamangalam Sisters or one-of-them with PS and the actual song is:

"Thiruppughazhai Paadappaada Vai Manakkum
