Is This The End Of Looking Forward To ARR Songs?

Firstly, where the hell is he? I know he did some concerts or something but where are all his latest movies and hits? Parasuram should be opening soon but what happened to the rest?? I was looking fwd to Yelelo, Boys, New, E18U20(something like that!), etc. All these films supposed to have opened some time ago but they have vanished. Did he delay these films again or the producers withdrew the films?

What's more, nowadays his music has become so mundane that the feelings I use to have looking out for the release so eagerly have also vanished. Has the upsurge in quality by other newcomers made his music so mundane? Has he given up film music. His Bombay Dreams has been a total failure and a waste of time listening to it. Just where is he & what is he up to?

  I don't dispute your figures. Maddy was saying Boys album was big success because it has sold 2 lakh units. 2 lakhs is nothing to compared to his earlier hit albums and recent hits of other MDs. Then how can you call Boys as a hit album?

  How the blue hell are such fantastic assumptions possible? assume you are in a queue to purchase 2 copies of the album, it will take you atleast 2 minutes at the counter, so in 120 min, 60 folks can buy 120 copies. Which means for 200000 copies to sell in 2 hrs, there should be 200000/120 = 1667 queues selling boys at the same time.
  
  Malaysian economy, please bounce back and get people back to work instead of standing in queues for a dumb album

  go and check the figures of YSR's hit albums and VS's hit albums then u'll know y 2 lakhs is a big hit nowww....... Boys was initially supposed to sell only 40k -50k units(with difficulty) but it sold 4 times the expected mark, so it is bound to be called a hit...
  Venki,ARR sells more than Madonna and Britney...BBC has confirmed this and i dunt think u'll even believe that sachin tendulkar has hit more centuries than "Don Bradman"... come on mannn we shuld be proud of these 2 folks from india and esp. ARR bcos he is a tamil......

  well said. Inga IR-a odhukavae mudiyala ippavum IR-kitta 8 Projects irukku wrt to TFM, but ARR has only 4.Till 1997 ARR was not able to takeover IR. IR gav a stiff competition to ARR till his last major hit Kaadhalukku mariyaadahi. after that for a brief period of 3 yrs ARR was the no.1 till 2000. appuram history reapeats itself. with pithamagan and sandiyar in waiting IR is all set to giv ARR a good fight whichll make ARR shift his career oriented only towards HFM. appurama tamizh makkalukku vimosanam kidaikum intha saniyan ozhijadunnu deepavali kondadalam.

  HFM is the home for ARR...... who told TFM is??? even ARR doesent recognise that i personally hope ARR has more flops in TFM and come to HFM....... he just changed TFM sounds and rite now even IR's son follows ARR style of recording and not his own dad's.......and also TFM's best change was ARR undoubtedly bcos the sounds were so different from IR and nobody else left such a big gap bet'n himself and his predecessor...... only ARR could do it...... watever u say, ARR is the face of Indian Music in world map......   i told HFM is the home for ARR bcos Major HFM magazines,dailys,critics think ARR is the best in India.......
  secondly , the bollywood also echoes the views of Media.....ARR is loved by the yester year MD's like Naushad,O.P.Nayyar, Lata Mangeshkar etc....
  thirdly, ppl. here think it is ARR the only one who can give good hits... so ARR is a HFM man..... so he better leaves TN and let dirty kollywood critics Subbudu praise IR and his son and his grandson for 100 or even 100 yrs..........

  let dirty kollywood critics Subbudu :- this was unnecessary, you cannot talk about Subbudu like this.. Actually He knows much better Carnatic than you know "Sa" of Music..
  Shaad Ali is not a proponent of Music, but Subbudu IS in carnatic. You value some Director's saying rather, but donot fail to comment on a Critic who has been there for years.
  What a Shame?? It is TFM and Subbudu has more to say since he is the biggest Critic when it comes to Carnatic Classical Music..

  subbudu has a very narrow-minded view of things..... he has too much against ARR cos he lost a battle with ARR in stopping carnatic singers from entering films...... he cannot bear that defeat, that's y he criticises ARR.... i hate such characters who talk wrong abt. someone just bcos they have difference of opinion with them...... he doesent have any respect for ARR ,so i judged how much knowledge he has got abt. music....... so if he apologises to ARR then i mite think again........

  MIL can only oppose and police people whoi talk bad about IR and IR's proponents like Subbudu.

  Just becos some posters like rajasaranam call ARR's music a flop, dont think it accounts for whole of TN ot TFM. Rajasaranam calls ARR a "sanian".
  
  
  Would you be surprised ever if such a "character" bad-mouths ARR's music??? Now I understand deeeply (infact very deeply) rajasaranam's stand. There is nothing soundly musical about his opinions. HE has the hardcore hatred of ARR which blinds him for even seeing the humanity side of things. How can you expect such things to respect ARR's music which is noble IMO.
  
  
  You can be judicious enough on whose opinions to give weight to. As of now, I frankly respect Vatsa's opinions and to an extent MIL's opinions. But things like rajasaranam calling ARR a "sanian" have for the better ensured and improved my filtering quality of sound opinions and healthy argumentation!
