Ajay Devgan and Vivek Oberoi can’t stop raving about the songs of Mani Ratnam’s Yuva. “A.R. Rahman and Mani Sir and dynamite together,” says Vivek on the sets of Indra Kumar and Ashok Thakeria’s Masti, and adds, “The six songs Rahman has recorded for the film are mind-blowing.”

Ajay Devgan, his co-star in Yuva and Masti, uses the same words to describe them. Incidentally, when the film was launched earlier this year, Mani Ratnam had decided not to have a single song in it.

Vivek also feels that Abhishek Bachchan’s is the best role and best performance in the film. “That guy’s career will take off in a big way after Yuva,” predicts Vivek.

  Due to popular demand..true story of ARR continues..
  
  ARR goes into a store and sees a shiny object. He asks the clerk,
  "What is that shiny object?" The clerk replies, "That is a thermos
  flask." ARR then asks, "What does it do?" The clerk responds, "It
  keeps Hot things hot and it keeps cold things cold." ARR says,
  "I'll take it!" The next day, he walks into work with his new thermos. His
  sardar boss sees him and asks, "What is that shiny object with you?" He
  said, "It's a thermos flask." The boss then says, "What does it do?" He
  replies, "It keeps hot Things hot and cold things cold. The boss said,
  "Wow, what do you have in it?" ARR replies, "Two cups of coffee

  AE is yet another worst from the media-hyped director Mani. This oscar nomiated remake movie, is just waste of time, if you would have watched Puthiya Mannagal, starred by Vikram directed by vikraman. The theme of this movie is really good. But the screenplay makes all the good things wrong. Mani has to comedown from sky to earth.(Hindi to Tamil). As a pakka business man, he wants to make more money, in both Hindi and Tamil. He is trying this continuosly. But he is failing again and again. He should go back to old crew and old mind-set. We have lost the good director of Nayagan/Mouna Ragam/Pagal Nilavu/Anjali. The 'Best Director' Mani has lost to 'Greedy' Mani.
  
  As for as AE is concerned, really a scrap move. Waste of money. Too much publicity makes this movie an utter-flop. Music part. I don't want to comment. If I comment, some hardcore ARR fans will start shout in this forum. I personally request ARR to stop doing music for Tamil Movies. I took pity on Surya, who is making big waves in the industry. With this film, he added one more flop in his career. The upcoming heroine Trisha should have avoided this movie. She might have convinved herself just because of Mani. Another big let down is Bharathi Raja. I think, any other good villan actor must have done some good job than this director, who makes some un-forgeetable hits.
  
  So far I used to say Better Luck Next Time to Mani. But now, I won't, as I lost faith in him.

  The truth would have hurt a lot less if the Villain died and Surya flew over a couple of cars doing a triple somersault before kicking Maddy. Pity Mani couldnt even think of such basic stuff. No wonder Mani's not making money. :)

  I watched the movie from pirated vcd print downloaded from the web..what to do i am in a place I don't have a chance to watch this movie in a theatre... Waiting eagerly for the original DVD so that I could atleast watch the visuals from Ravi K. Chandran and good BGM from Praveenmani :-) Again my claim is nothing wrong to see the copycats movie in a copied VCD...
