Baba Music Review - Let's begin with the punch lines

To start this thread, here are the punch lines in Rajini's latest "Baba"

  Jus watched the sun tv baba show wit VM.
  VM was characteristically full of self-praise. When talking abt the Sakthi Kodu song, he described how he had written the lyrics for the song and persuaded Rajini to get ARR to compose the tunes for the lyrics. And he said that ARR had composed the music miga arumaiyaaga. I was waiting for some anti-ARR hostility, but didnt hear any, tho i might have missed something. I cudnt record the show unfortunately. He read out alot of the lyrics. It'll be good if someone who cud remember cud write out the lyrics here.

  he read a very good song,
  the lines were great it went like...
  
  "baba.. baba..

  and the saranam like
  
  "nirvaaNamdhaan iyarkkayadaa
  aadai enbadhu seyarkkayadaa

  after saying this he said,
  next day he had a call from rajni's office that the song was rejected for some valid reasons and said the song that was actually recorded for the tune gave by rahman.

  vaazhkkai enbadhu sinimaa sinimaa

  and the lyric goes as advice for kids, youth and the older generation. but the lyric of the earlier song he said was so good.
  
  the second song was a duet one,
  manisha :
  "baba..
  un uchandhalayil
  macham kaNdupidippoam vaa !
  
  un netriyil aadudhE
  kaththai mudi,
  un dhaadi En,
  thayakkam En,
  konjam nee maarividu
  engEyoa poai viduvaai "
  Rajni:
  " naanaga naanirundhaal
  naattukkE nalladhadi
  vivagaaram illayadi..."
  and so on.
  
  in the first stanza,
  manisha :
  " puyal varum nEram
  poochcheNdu koduppai
  puriyaadha pudhir nee baba ! "
  Rajni :
  " puriyaadha pudhir alla,
  naan pudhayaadha pudhayaladi,
  anbaaga neeyirundhaal
  baaba oar piLLayadi "
  
  the final song was to kALi asking for power to destroy the evil and to help the needy...
  
  " sakthi koadu thaayE
  sakthi koadu !
  en nadai kaNdu kiraganggaL
  idam maara vENdum
  en padai kaNdu thisaiyellam
  thadam maara vENdum "
  
  lyrics were so good.
  its for this song where vairamuthu asked rajni to compell rahman to make a tune and rahman has given a lovely tune to it.
  
  " paLLathil iruppavarai
  mEdEtra sakthi koadu
  veLLathil iruppavarai
  karaiyEtra sakthi koadu "
  
  it goes like this in first stanza...
  
  the second stanza runs more lively about answers to many of rajni's fans.
  
  "katchigaLai padhavigaLai
  naan virumba maatEn... aanaal... "
  
  thats were vairamuthu paused and left the listners to keep guessing until JULY 15th the day of audio release.
  
  this is the first official program of baba.
  theyve thanked rajni for granting permission to do such a program.
  
  sorry people,
  i posted it was vaalee who will do such a program few days ago.
  
  but i heard junior vikadan has put the lyrics of the final stanza of the last song.
  
  some one try get it.

  magix,
  i recorded the program and got the songs from junior vikadan and many of the dailes which carried the same news.
  
  ok now the news that i promised,
  
  for a duet song to be shot the next day where rajni and manisha are ready in swiz the previos nite all were in search of vairamuthu bcas they want the song that nite. rahman was in london and the tune was ready, finally they found VM in his native village farm house and a call was made to him by rahman and he played the tune via the phone and around 3:15am they completed the song. then the lyrics and tune were sent to chennai where karthick and another female singer were waiting in rahman's studio after the recording the song was emailed back to rahman who copied it and sent it to swiz and enabled the shooting to happen the next day.

  from all the info it doesnt look like spb has sung any song in this movie....and theres no trademark intro song too...
  looks like this might be a bit of a gamble considering all the hype.
