  All credit goes to REX. He has started this great service for Ilaiyaraaja fans, that makes us feel, why not we also do something from our side.
  Friends, I have a vision.. "VISION 2002" . Let us document all works of Ilaiyaraaja , all films, all songs, non film works, carnatic music, etc... If possible we will have the real audio songs also. If every fan will host 10 or 20 realaudio songs on their site, then don't you think this is possible in three years?

  devan thiruchabai - is from 'Avar enakkey sondham'. There is another excellent song from the same movie sung by PSusheela. It goes like this: 'Thaeril aadum roja, poonthendralaada kandaen, enn nenjam ponnoonjal aada kandaen, iru kannil enai aalum manivanna, pallaandu paadakandaen, sorgathai unnaaley naeril kandaen'.
  
  Nadhiyoram - is not from Raanuva veeran. It is from Annai or aalayam, I think.

Every fan of IR with a computer should start a web site and contribute to the ultimate website, well written with all newspaper articles, every photos, every songbook, etc. I am fascinated what you said about your hobbies. I used to be like you, collecting a lot of IR front covers, articles. I have lost most of them unfortunately.

  The most popular song from 'desiya geetham'
  'en kanavinai kel nanba' is not sung by KJY. It is by Hariharan.
  
  If you can notice the voice it is pretty thin over many places, especially "aha.......Patti Thottikuam Palingukalae rodu veeandum..."

  By K.J. Yesudas(or Jesudas, anyway some Das) from the movie "Neengal Kettavai". Oh Yes. There is one good song in this movie... "Adiyaei Manam Nillunna Nikkadadi.. Kodi yaeyaei Enai Kandu Neeyum Sokkadadi... Thappalai Podama Kepparu Kelama Koopadu Podadadi...." nice dance by Silk(in 1985s she was kanavukanni for youngsters,in particular her mannerism of biting the lips and giving an enticing look).

  One more point. For the above song, if possible let the recording be in Realplayer G2, too. The song content is of high quality with G2.
  
  Rex, Thanks for the Gjan Gjan padanam song. It is wonderful. I like the absolute difference exhibited by Sujatha as compared to PS or SJ. In fact, that difference is also exhibited by Vani Jeyaram(high pitch voice), Jency and Uma Ramanan.

  A great collection, may it grow in its size and rarity of selection. One of my long time searches ended today after I heard "Adhikaalai Suba Velai Un Olai" from Natpu. I've been searching for this song for nearly 10 years. I also enjoyed rediscovering the forgotten number, "Eriyile Elandhamaram", what a treat!
