Ramprasad: I do not think "Ennadi Paappa" and naan Unnai Azhaikkavillai featured PS. I think they aere TMS solos. But there is a duet in Enga Maama with TMs but I cannot recall it. Also, the second version of Unnai Onru ketpen cannot real;ly be termed "sad", probably we can call it "slower".!

There is a TMS solo version of Naan Unnai Azhaikkavillai.But,I think that there is a PS solo version also of the same song.
About "Ennadi Paappa", I have never heard the song - just picked it up from the PS website.Somebody who is sure, can confirm whether this features PS or not.

Yes there is a PS solo version of Naan Unnai Azhaikka villai.

RP,
There are two versions of 221 Sondham Eppodhum. The song ofcourse appears only once in the film, but I have heard two versions of it on radio. The pallavi is the same but the two saranams are different. I will try to list the opening lines of the four saranams soon. These two versions could be listed as Sondham 1 and Sondham 2.

224 Aalayamaagum appears twice in the movie - once in the opening scene as part of a movie shooting and later when J sings it with SG. Wonder if somebody could confirm if the lyrics are same in both the versions.

Today, I heard the lovely song "Theru Paarkka Vandhirukkum Chiththira PeNNe". I had heard the song many times before and very much admired the way PS has sung this particular song.I did not know that this song is from Iru Dhuruvam.So, let us add this song to the PS-Sivaji list.

There seems to be a lot of confusion on "PeNNin Perumai." Raj had listed "Kanden Kanavile" and Saravanan had mentioned "Mudiyuma" and "Azhuvadhaa".Now, JN has come up with a completely new set of 4 or 5 songs.I am not familiar with any of these. Experts' help needed.

Hi,
There might be a few readers of this site who may be a bit sceptical of "the two versions of Sondham Eppodhum Thodarkadhaidhan.... from Praaptham". The details are as under:
Version 1 starts with a PS humming and its two saranams go like this:
"Maaligai Padhumai Maragadha Ilamai" and
"Kodayil Mayakkam Kulithaal Theerum".
Version 2 does not have the humming in the beginning but has a diffeent humming between the two saranams which start off as:
"Vilakkin Oliyil Sirkkum Mugathai" and
"Nilathil Valarum Kani poongodigal"

Thanks for reminding about the missed song in Enga Mama (Ennanga Sollunga Ippavo appavo). I do not recollect this song but the PS website mentions this.

Possibly, this is the duet that you were referring to earlier.

We have to delete song 237, since it does not feature PS.
