  "Chittu kuruvi", "Nee illatha ulagathilE", "Kalai magaL kaiporuLE" ... My list is big. Not yet heard all, Today only I had a chance to visit this. Please make it permanent and if I am able to set my own sequence and choices that would be great. Thanks a lot.

  I don't think I will fully agree.. but, as far
  as unnidaththil ennai koduththEn
  song goes.. yes, SJ has done a tremendous
  job. I would put this song as one of SJ's alltime
  bests. In the movie, Bharathy is madly in love
  with Gemini and sings this song yearning about him.
  There are many other songs also, where you can't even think of
  anyone other than SJ singing them. Some
  examples are.. malarOdu viLaiyAdum thendralE
  vArAi (a duet with PBS.. the song is in a
  1959 movie, dheiva balam), mAdhA un
  kOvilil (in achchANi), singAra vElanE,
  (K. Salangai), thookkam un kaNgaLai
  (AlayamaNi) etc. (STS: Many thanks for uploading
  the golden songs by SJ. They are wonderful.)

  There is another classical classic of SJ chinnan chiRiya vaNNap paRavai with TMS.
  
  I am curious to know how many songs have PS sung which have swaram singing or Jathi or konnakkals by her? any idea?

  Definitely S.Janaki's voice is more expressive than P.Susheela.Thank you very much for the Golden Oldies songs by S.Janaki. I love her very much and her sweet voice. I really enjoy her oldies in your page. Thanks again.
