OHHHHHH....Keralites just worshis his voice. Honestly he always sounded like BHAJAN singer.
In TFM , KJD was always sounded AWFUL .Do you agree???

  retain my stand that in the love songs of KJJ
  YOUTHFULNESS,MISCHEIF, ROMANTIC FEELINGS were never properly brought out by him.In fact TMS,SPB were certainly better.Come on friends KJJ is yet to prononce TAMIL properly anad for love duets you need to master even SLANG language....Parvathy.

  The mispronunciation of "La" and sometimes (most times?) the "malayala accent" are the only errors I have found in KJY's pronunciation while singing.
  
  And I don't agree that one has to master "even SLANG language" for love duets, if anything - you don't want slang language in a romantic love duet: Romance goes with elegance and takes on in a different plane (like does good music) and there's no place for slang there! So, IMO, you can't mix the too.
  
  Infact, pronunciation - unless it is too bad, an error here and there is just fine - must not be given so much importance at all when considering one's singing, given the fact none of the most popular singers in Tamil are tamilians (except ofcourse TMS and LR who grew up in TN)! If you cling to pronunciation, I can give you a list of the best songs ever to be remembered with glaring pronunciation errors.
  
  As for KJY's singing, his voice might lack the necessary mischief (which you could find only in TMS voice) but certainly not youthfulness. Come on, to say KJY's voice lacks youthfulness is like saying SPB's voice lacks romance! About romance in KJY's singing, well, I am not a great fan of KJY, so no comments:))

  KJY can do good voice modulation. It is true. But really something is missing in his songs. Yes the singers touch. Laughing inbetween singing is not singers touch. KJY is a parrot to repeat what the Music Director tells. Nithyasree is also something like that. Jayachandran is a suitable person to sing all KJY songs not KJY.
