Rex: Thanks so very much. I can't express my appreciation for your excellent help. The song was as brilliant as I was told and I really enjoyed it. The Hindustani style rendering of the Keeravani Raga Swaras after S Janaki's Keeravani part was lovely. Who sang it? The beat section was also very good. I did indeed appreciate the changes to the song and they were incredibly effective.
Thanks again for bringing this joy to our ears.

Rex:
Thanks for uploading three of the songs I sent.
Folks:
The following songs in Rex's page have the outstanding and creative use of Thabala by IR:
(1) Azhaghiya Kanne..from Mullum Malarum
(2) Engheyo Etho...from Nathiyai Thedi Vantha Kadal
and the following song is rare and unusual, outstanding composition by IR. Probably only a few heard it, since it probably did not make it to screen:
Pani Mazhai Vizhum.. in Enakkaga Kathiru..
As usual, watch the start and the brilliant interludes!
Please listen and give feed back.

I could not recollected the name of that fan who was very persistently asking for this great song: AARARIRO PADIYATHAARO THOONGI PONATHAARO from THAAIKU ORU THAALATU. This song is up!! Enjoy!! Of course this is too heavy a song, and as you had said it, that is the main reason why this song is not hosted in many websites as well as in Radio Programs.
But this song is uploaded to satisfy your request. Do not forget to share your feelings and comments at this thread. Was it Raj or MSK or Vijay....I am confused.

Rex: Thanks a lot for uploading Azhagiya Kannae for me specially. As I said, it is available in other sites but the quality sucks. I just heard it here and as with other songs here, the clarity is amazing. I dont know the technical aspects but I can perceive the difference. Thanks alot rex.
Thanks to all your sources as well.

Hi Rex,
Could you please add the following song from the
movie "Illamai Kolangal"
"Nee Illatha Pothu Aengum Nenjam"

Was listening to 'Vennilavil malligayil vilayaadum amaidhi sugam kavidhai sugam, adhu kaadhal sugam' - Adhiradipadai by SPB and Chithra.
What a song and how it has gone unnoticed because of the movie having flopped. Such a melodious song with excellent interludes, soulful rendition by both the veterans.
It will be a great treat to everybody if you can upload this song.

Hi Rex,
It was nice listening to the latest uploads. esp thotathila pathi katti. But the songs are getting cut somewhere near the end of the song. Can you look into it?

Hi Rex,
Great job!!Could you please add this song to this page "MAHARAJANODU RANI VANTHU SERUM" from the film "Sathi Leelavathi".
Thanks,
Rajesh.

Praveen:
If my memory is right only 4 songs have a cut towards the end that too for less than 10 seconds or so.
It is because that out of the 135 songs uploaded so far only 2 songs were recorded directly from the CD. All other songs are recorded through Audio cassettes. Certain songs are recorded towards the end and might end little prematurely. This problem was pointed out by some friends before too. However, you can expect amends to be made to those numbers shortly when the page is revised.
Thanks for your input.

Rex,
Listened to Saadhanai songs after many many years today. Thanks a lot. Still remember Sivaji acting as director in this movie. There is one more great song.. 'Anbey anbey engey engey, kanneerin megangal, kannukkul paarungal kaadhal mannavaa' sung splendidly by SJanaki. Again you have put me into nostalgia.

I second Rex 's thoughts on this .. This song has so much pathos packed ito it.. not a good idea if u are emotionallly weak as this will make u cry.

Radj:
While coming to US I brought with me a good collection of almost all Raja songs with me. Back home when I was doing my undergrad, I used to record many songs for me as well as for my friends.
After coming here, I should sincerely thank my elder sister Mrs.Josephine and my Dad Mr.Arul who always used to record songs of my choice as well as of her choice and send it back to me through someone who will be leaving for the US.
I should also thank Mr.Senthil of Royal Electronics, Coimbatore for performing the recording within a short notice with high quality.

Coming to your question...."within a short span of time....??"
I am able to do this and am continuing to do this only to keep you all happy!! Raaja fans happy!! That is the only motivation behind all these efforts....
That is why I request fans to keep this thread going by discussing about the songs, the quality content, their own feelings after hearing the songs etc. That is the single motivation that is driving me like this (about 150 songs, (with very high quality) less than a month is very difficult to achieve, otherwise!!)

Songs ready for the next upload include (not exhaustive list)
1. Kaalayila Kanmuzhichu Naan Sooriyana Kandathila - Sujatha from ANNAN. Great song. I wish to dedicate this soothing melody to my mom and to all the moms.
2. Adi Sivan Tholirukum - Bhavatharini & Chorus from KADAVUL. I am very sure that my Hindu friends will love this song for its devotional content. Particularly the ending music with thaarai thampattai kind of folk instruments, always make me dance as though I am performing a Kavadi Aatam. Great song...Do not fail to notice its musical content.
3. Unai Kaanum - K.J Yesudoss & Vani Jayaram from UNNAI NAAN SANTHITHEN.....Should I even mention about the great melody content????
4. Vilaku vaccha Nerathila- Ilayaraaja & S.Janaki from MUNTHAANAI MUDICHU (By Request)
5. Chinnanjiru Kiliye - SPB & S.Janaki from MUNTHAANAI MUDICHU ( By Request)
6. Anthi Varum Neram - SPB & S.Janaki from MUNTHAANAI MUDICHU (By Request)
7.Karpoora Mullai Onru - Chitra & Chorus from KARPOORA MULLAI.
8.Inge Iraivan - Mano & P.Susheela from SIR I LOVE YOU. Great song......how can a song with such great melody content and good lyrics go unnoticed like this one???
More to continue......(EVK is still being delayed because I am trying really hard to remove the noise....In fact the songs from MUNTHAANAI MUDICHU as well as SAADHANAI had a lot of noise, which I had to remove by working really hard on those ones. MM is not yet uploaded though!!)

Friends.....
I am just listenting to the .ra files of MM, that I have encoded.....I just could not believe my ears.....not even the slightest hiss with "brrk brrkk" kind of noise due to LP...... These tracks were extensively worked for noise removal with Goldwave and definitely you all are going to be amazed at its sound quality..... I am very happy and thrilled right now!!!
