I downloaded almost all the different versions of mp3 available and even listened in web-sites like Raaga.com. I should say DJ RON's the best so far. If you want to stick with one MP3 DOWNLOAD DJRON's. SOUL SATISFYING!!!!!!!!!!!!

last week i downloaded the file u uploaded at FTP
is 192 kbs. After i compare with ur new uploaded file 320 kbs.. i cant realy get what is the different...? i think both of the quality is same..?...

i don't know.. i think 30 kbps is good for cd recording. there are some sounds you can hear clearly in 320 than 192...

By the way, Kum_laden, 192 as against 320 does not make a difference when you listen in your comp speakers. 320/VBR did make a hell a lot of diff when i burnt my CDs and played in my home/car system. esp VBRs can make a difference.
It did for sure!!

Remember 128 is good enough for evaluation. We have crossed that stage. My intention is not to evaluate but to get the max out of the CD.

RAHMAN HAS REAL STUFF. UDAYA IS REALLY SUPERB. ALL SONGS ARE GREATLY COMPOSED. HOWEVER I THINK 'KADAL VIRUS' SOUNDS BETTER THAN 'UDAYA' BECAUSE IT HAS MANY NEW THINGS APPLIED BY ARR WHILE COMPARE WITH 'UDAYA'. dont foget Udhaya was done for many years ago and therefore AR Rahmans tunes fits the sounds at the time he composed the songs. Whether this might be an advantage its up to the tamil audience to decide.

Man this song is growing to kill me everyday...hariharan is best used after along time by a r rahman.....` Unalaeaa Thanaleaa ' wowwwwwwwww mind blowing renditions by hari..best song of the year..too early to say this..but I think even rahman cant break this song down easily..well enough said I guess..take care guys..

The surprise of the album is ThiruvellikEni rani, in my opinion. At first I thought it is a standard ARR tune but on repeated listenings sounds better and better. Udhaya Udhaya is absolutely gorgeous. Getti mElam getti mElam is also very good. The part where SM goes "Amilathai
enakkullE amudhamAi ooti vittai, kAdhalin visham
thandhu Ayulai kooti vittai" is superb. The only song which reminds me of a song in Guru ("Aadungal pAdungal pillai ponn vandugal" of the eighties) is the "pookum malarai" sung by Hariharan. Overall a very good album by ARR.
