Singers not used by A R Rahman for a long time now.

Hello friends, A R Rahman seems to call singers to sing his compostions on a seasonal basis. 3-4 years back, he used to use singers like; Anuradha Sriram, Anupama, Devan Ekambaram, Sriram Parthasarathy, Sukhwinder Singh, K J Jesudas, M G Sreekumar, Latha Mangeshkar, Suresh Peters, Vaishali, Ranu Mukherjee and many others. Especially Anuradha Sriram, Devan and Anupama are not used by him these days at all. The last song sung by Anuradha Sriram for Rahman is "Isq Bina, from Taal, I think.

A R Rahman's recent favourites include T K Karthik, Sreenivas, Thipu, Shankar Mahadevan and a couple of new singers.

I think Rahman can start using Devan, Harish Raghavendra, Sriram Parthasarathy and Anuradha Sriram.

  You can add Hariharan also in the list. Earlier Hariharan used to sing atleast one good no. in ARR music. Nowadays he is not at all using him.

  A R Rahman is one md who wants differentiate himself from the other music directors.If you analyse u will see. If there is a trend of using certain singers for certain songs Rahman always does something different. Thats why the singers he uses are seasonal.

  i think u could add unnikrishnan.year before unnikr has sung so many song in AR R's music. All songs r superz hit that every1 know.
  now like yr after unnik sung in KADHAL VIRUS

  I am talking about the overall count.
  
  hari is ARR's discovery..(well...that's logic truth)...so he might be using him often...but SPB finds atleast one song in every film ---(90% of the time)

  arr used SPB in his majority of albums, in tamil, with few exceptions like, Bombay, Kanthil muthamittal, thiruda thiruda, sangamam, but the telugu versions of all these albums mentioned have atleast two SPB songs in it.
  
  ARR said in an interview, that SPB is such great legend, hence he only gives the ultimate song to SPB

  ARR has not used harish raghavendra probably because harish has made it to the top with hits from music directors like Harris Jayraj,Ilayaraja,YSR,KR and others and the only singer who could come up without ARR.

  SPB is not used in ARR's music,since he does not sing after 9:00 pm!!The time does not suit SPB..since ARR records his songs mostly in the night..
  
  Harish Ragavendra must be used by ARR..He is too good..
  
  Karthik was one of the best found singer by ARR..

  mr arjun ur supporting hr for what there is no point in supporting hr b'coz he has already left the tfm for acting he could'nt compete with the new singers like TIPPU,KARTHIK,KK,& OTHER TALENTED singers tippu has sung the maximum of 49 songs in 2002,karthick has done 29,kk has done 11, shankar mahadevan 19,hh 15 others not even 5 songs each inthat harish has done only 8songs so thats the difference between the karthk & harish so the top 2 r only tippu & karthik hr is not in the singers list any more.the above mentioned list was there in the top daily english news paper check it out

  Uma Ramanan has a very sweet voice. No one could forget her songs like Velli Nilave (Nanthavana Theru),Oh unnale Naan Pennaneney. She has not been singing for a very long time.ARR has not used her at all.Sunantha is another singer that we seem to have lost.Remember her Mannava Mannava(Walter Vetrivel, Oru Solla Kuyil Sonnathey (Pon Villangu).She has sung 2 song for ARR. Inthirano(Kathalan) and Yetherke Pondati (Kizhake Seemayile). Her last song i heard was Natchatira Jennalil (Surya Vamsam).
