  Can you please respond to my queries on "the songs pf PS sung from 1990 till her retirement".
  
  To repeat, I want to record those songs. Kalai has already given some info besides my list. Can you please refine the list as well share your info. The info I look for are Song title, film name, MD, year of release, accompanying singer(if any), actor/actress.

  alsoi heard a song en pillai from MGR nagaril

  "thangam perithendru" is from the movie "thiruvarul", Music by "Kunnakudi".It is a old movie..

  PS has sung for Roja in a Telugu movies
  - Seetaratnam Gaari Abbayi (Movie) - Song is "Naa Mogude Brahma Chaari...". MD is Raj-Koti.
  - Sarpayaagam (Movie) - Song is "ABCD gundello edo vaadi...". MD is Vidya sagar.
  
  
  For Meena
  
  I know PS sang for Meena in SiriVennela. Song is Chandamama Raave.... Meena is a kid in that song. SOng is really very good.. MD is KVM.

  In SiriVennela, chandmama rave was sung by SPB (For the hero Sarvotham Banerjee), P. Susheela (For Suhasini) and B. Vasantha (For the child artist Meena).
  
  Anyway I did not know that the child artist was Meena. Thanks.

  Did any1 happened to watch Udaya TV yesterday where K. Balachander's kannada (few) songs were telecasted?
  
  2 songs I want to quote
  
  1. Remake of Iru KodugaL. Sowcar replaced by Saritha; Jayathi replaced by Geetha. Navarathri song "Punnagai Mannan poovizhi kannan" song (kannada version) was sung by Vani Jayaram and P. Suseela. This time PS replaced Jamuna Rani and VJ replaced original PS's portion. Though the tune was not very good, it was good to watch how the same director adopted the situation, singers, picturisation etc. PS romba kovathoda paadinadhu nalla irundhadhu.
  
  2. Remake of Sollathaan ninaikiren. "Pallavi endru mannavan ketka". Shubha, Srividhya, Jayachitra, Sivakumar were replaced by Thaara, "Idayam nalleNNai" chitra, Devi lalitha and Sridhar. Excellent picturisation here too. P. Suseela and Vani Jayaram replaced S. Janaki and P. Suseela of the Tamil original. PS's stammering for Thaara was damn good and the immediate support given by VJ was as superior as PS's original. VJ's voice was very sweet and tender.
  
  It was great watching those songs. KB is KB. Old is always gold.

  Padmavyuham was the dubbed telugu version of Puthiya mugam (Revathi's).

  The way PS sings the last line is simply superb..

  The song for Meena was sung by, as mentioned by Subbu, Vasantha, a veteran singer. Virinchinai virachinchithini by PS was sung for Samyuktha in the movie.
  
  The hero's name is Sarvadhaman Banerjee not Sarvotham Banerjee.

  There was a lovely song from an old tamil film "Motor sundaram piLLai" acted by Sivaji, Sowcar, MaNimala, Jayalalitha etc. The song starts with "Manamay muruganin mayil vahanam" sung by Radha Jayalakshmi. Fantastic rendering with beatiful support of veeNai. I heard the same song in telugu was sung by PS and said it is also very good. Would you friends share on that also (Lyrics and song link, if possible).

  samyuktha in telugu is Nithya in Tamil @ that time she acted in many telugu movies as sister ..

  Hi Subba - i am guest and the real name is nagesh. As Raj said - Manase Andhala Brindavanam is the Tel equivalant. Music is by SP Kodandapani.
  Do you understand Telugu? If so, I can send you the lyrics (minus swaras...). You can get this song in any music showroom. You look for Devotional Songs by PS in Telugu titled "Nee Daya Raada....".

  I misunderstood your initial post. I thought you meant the song was sung by PS and Nithya. Anyway, never mind what I said.

  The song was composed by SPKodhandapani - the guy who brought SPB into playback singing. It used to be one of the songs women/girls always chose for competitions because the song had a good dose of gamakams and swaras. By the way, this song is based on Hindola ragam. Nice, lively composition. I heard the tamil song, but it looked like a shortened version. I like the PS version better simply because the voice is more vibrant and it is a full song!

  Saturday (22-Mar) news in banaglore. Telugu Vignana Samithi, here, celebrated its golden jubilee. As part of it, they honorued the great Yesudas and Susheela. Also an award in the name of PS will be installed by TVS and every year an young artiste will be honoured with this award.
  
  One more info. I went to Lord Shiva Mandir on the airport road. After the darshan, I just peeped into Big KEMP FORT and looking at stalls. It was a surprise that PS came in along with few more. She exactly came to the stall where I was Standing. I said 'namaskara madam' and introduced me as her fan who is mad after her voice. Also said I have a great collection of her songs and cassettes. I spoke in English. But she responded with "appadiyaa" in Tamil. I could not guess how she guessed that am a tamilian. It was really a week-end with surprise.

  Still they have notinstalled the award. THey have told taht they will be installing an award. SHe has told taht" I have requested so many people for installing an award after my name, but no one has not done that yet. I have sung 1000s of songs , only that was my achievement.   Would like to know that whethere you are happy or unhappy to say that "still the award is not installed". Obviously, based on the announcement, the background will start and it will take time to install an award in the name of a history creator.
  
  I think the statement made by PS was not in sync with yours'. What she told in the meeting that "artists should be honored when they are alive; most of the times, it is being done after their death, which is not going to be ghe real honor".
  
  This is true that only posthumous award are generally given to the legends. Officials at the Govt should really think about it.
