Huge Tamil MP3 collection

Hi guys,

I have a good collection of tamil mp3s. You can connect to my FTP server and browse my collection. I recommend using WSFTP-LE.

Host: 68.83.71.35
Username: friend
Password: friend

But if you need to download any of them (ofcourse, for FREE), please email me at musiclover@chennai.net.

My FTP Server will be up mostly weekdays 7:00PM to 10:00PM and starting Friday 7:00PM all thro' weekend.

Please send me your feedback.

  Thanks for the comments. Some of the movies in the 90s directory may have not been released in 90s, but that is my way of sorting things.
  
  Some are trying to login in as anonymous into FTP Server. Please do not try anonymous logins. Login as:
  Username: friend
  Password: friend
  
  I am still moving songs to the server. So expect more songs soon. I have got about 7 GB of carnatic and devotional.

  Remember Arul Rex used to host RA files of some old IR hits 2 years ago, I have almost all of them converted into MP3 format, the quality is what ever the original files had, I can host them for some one interested , but only in March. The EVK , Nandu songs are there in them i think

  do u have any rare collections of IR, which are not available easily in Cd format in the market, if u would like to share. For those who are audiogalaxy satellite members, u can share my collection, by looking at member name "blimbos", the telugu group has set up a nice group, we can do a decent one for IR/Tamil group.

  Well, I had Kovil Pura, Bala Nagamma and other very rare songs in MP3 format. Unfortunately, I copied them onto a cheap CDRW using ECDC. Something went wrong and I cannot access the CDRW anymore. Its gone:-( I have tried everything, but no success. If anybody has any ideas on how to make that CDRW accessible that would be great..
  
  Regarding my FTP server, using login 'friend' you will not be able to download. You have to send me an email at musiclover@chennai.net. Please do not keep banging the server trying to download using username 'friend'.

  Music lover,a good attempt indeed. Let's make it an official site.kindly have the file names as the starting naME OF THE SONG.there are quite a lot of ppl from Arr fans group-who would like to hear 80's tamil songs-Can we distribute the login Id to that group.
  One more thing Let's not make Md discrimination of TFM ,Lets have songs from all MD's.
  Let's also encourage people to upload their own compositions.

  I do not have my FTP server anymore but instead now running a direct connect hub. Here's how to access the songs:
  1. Download Direct Connect software from www.neo-modus.com
  2. In the Connect box, type 68.83.71.235 or sort hub names and find "Tamil Hub"
  3. come on in and if you like what you see, send an email to musiclover@chennai.net to get registered.

  I have been an active member ( Downloader ) at the Tamil Hub, maintained by Music lover,it is really very good. Music Lover has done a very good job with a tremandous collection of Tamil songs of many genre of different MDs. Music lover also has a sizeable collection of tamil comedy dramas in Mp3 format for those interested. Please join the hub and share the music. It is really surprising that Tamil group is the only one which doesn't have a lot of peer to peer shared groups, when Audiogalaxy was up, there used to be a very active Telugu and malayalam group. I wish and hope everybody who is interested should join the hub.

  Good job Music Lover.. So far I have downloaded 36 songs today.. great IR songs.. It is a testimony to how beneficial site like TFM forum can be.. Also thanks to TFM forum and all the member friends of Direct Connect..

  Yes, Vinod. I have Kadhalukku Mariyadhai songs and much more. To give you an idea, I have about 14 GB of Tamil songs alone apart from full tamil movies and vidoes. Prabhudas has a about 20 GB. You might be surprised to see what is out there..
  
  Friends, currently there are a few members who join the hub regularly. If I don't get too much response, I will be closing down the hub soon. (ofcourse, anybody else can start this again). If there are lot of people, I will run the hub 24/7.

  u mentioned very active telegu and malayalam groups in ur message. this malayalam group, does it still exist or did it come to an end after audiogalaxy's departure? and did this group have something do with mp3 sharing or was it there just for messages? please clear this point, cause after audiogalaxy's 'death' i'm in desperate need of malayalam mp3s, which seems to be the rarest on the net.

  KAZAA installs spyware on your computer and I didn't like it. Direct connect is just another file sharing program that works great. There are huge hubs with 100s of users. Anybody who used it would agree with me (I guess!)

  2. in layman terms..... it's the extreme form of cookies
  3. softwares like GATOR/DAP/Flashget etc..... are all notorious spywares
  4. It is similar to having a big brother watching over your surfing habits.... but in this instance it used used mainly for business purposes [ i'd dare think that it could be used for other purposes]

  As Kannan mentioned, Spyware is generally used to monitor your internet activity. Kazaa uses a Spyware product called Cydoor.
  
  There is another product called Kazaa-lite. This is a version of Kazaa without the spyware. Search for Kazaalite in google to download this.
  
  But, most importantly, download Lavasoft's Ad-Aware program. This is a free spyware and adware removing program that works great. Go to www.lavasoftusa.com to get it. You should read user reviews at www.download.com before downloading anything. I find that very useful.
