side A:
ele machi machi--- sung by kamal and udit narayanan. sung very well by kamal, but udit's tamil pronounciation is not impressive ,but maybe it is intentional bcos madhavan is an NRI in this movie. colloquial and catchy. very good road philosophy.
mounamae-- good melody. spb's daughter makes her debut.
naatukuoru--- kamal and others.nice song. a rarity in tamil cinema. a typical song which is often used in theatres and koothu=pattarai. nicely sing by kamal. nice wordings by pralayan
Side B:
Anbae Sivam: sung by kamal and karthik.best song in this album. very,very excellent wordings. a nice, beautiful.sensible song.kudos to vairamuthu.
ele machi machi--- a repeat of the previous song in side A. but it is sung by udit narayanan and tippu. i think the first song in side A was better than this. i doubt this song willl feature in the movie.its just to fill in the album.
poovasam-- sadhana sargam and vijay prakash.
starts off brilliantly. one of the best melodies of recent times.

anbe sivam songz are nice,espeacialy 4 maunameh...,and the intro of ale machi machi. the intro has thailand buddhist prayers followed by MJ 90's sound..very nice..the chorus part of this song really sucks..thanx to udit narayan who saves this song..the instrument which are used in this whole 5 songs quite impresive..the yar yar sivam ..song has .. buddhist prayers sound as background music..3star..while maunameh songs are very nice.. it has scotland bag pipe playing as intro..after a long gap... SPB did once again wif the composing of vidyasagar like KARNA song..4 star..poo vasam song intr has chinese bamboo flute sound and changes to slow beat melodious song ..3 1/2 star ,the songs which really sucks is naduke ore seidhi ' because of kamalhassan....over all ..this film'z song'z song are nice but could not win the rating like RUN,DHOOL,..but... this films sound tracks will be better if never got disturbed by the stupid kamalhassan..his voice really sucks..luckilly vidyasgar did a lot of mixing in yar yar sivam,and ale machi..except for naduke ore seidhi which sung by kamalhassan... kamal is a very very good actor' but a total jerk in music..

guys I don't know what has changed suddenly, but I feel Kamal's voice is still the same as it was yesterday, people who always liked his songs are heavily critizing him today. Anyways I don't think the songs are bad, matter of fact it is pretty good and Kamal songs just makes it better.
But thats just me, I don't change opinions based on people current ratings.

When you copy music using Windows Media Player,
The copied song's license is tied to the machine and the OS on which the copying is done (This means you will be able to listen to copied version only in that PC). When you try to open the copied file in other PC (copied on to CD)the Media Player's DRM (Digitial Rights management )looks for valid license, if it is not there it will not play. License is part of windows media audio format.
Even Winamp exibhits the same behaviour.
As for as converting .wma to .mp3 you can use microsoft's audio converter (Available in microsoft site)the program is share ware.
Note : You can't even listen to the songs if you reinstall the Windows OS, you have to copy once again ;-)

Has Kamal resolved to sing EVERY song of his!!!???
But I must admit he sounds fab in the title song!
Jus 2 complaints in the otherwise excellent album.
1. MJ's beat in "Machi Machi"
2. Poovasam(?) (the rope and painting song!) :) sounds a bit like "unodu vazhadha vazhvenna" from Amarkalam.

When i read this in the news somewhere very early on, i did not beleive... but later when i read the story of AS, i was able to bring out the commonalities... this may not be a ditto copy but a definate inspiration like Doubtfire and What about bob...

the english movie
Planes, Trains and Automobiles
All Neal Page (Steve Martin) wants to do is make it home from a business trip in New York City and spend Thanksgiving with his family in Chicago. Instead, he finds himself rerouted from New York’s La Guardia Airport to Wichita, Kansas. With no other options, Neal decides to share a room in a fleabag hotel with Del Griffith (John Candy), a shower-curtain-ring salesman and fellow stranded traveler. Although Neal finds Del to be a buffoon, he just can’t seem to get away from him. To make matters worse, all their efforts to get back to Chicago fail as trains break down and rental cars catch on fire. Along the way they encounter crazy cabbies, redneck truck drivers, and oversexed bus passengers.
