"Aandavan Illa Ulagam Edhu Ailasa", "Nalla Manam Vazhga" endra paattukkal irundhana. Anegamaga "Oru Naal Unnodu Oru Naal" paattu indha padam endru ninaikkiren - kadayai vaitthu. VGP cassette-il paattu cut aavadhu pazhagi vittadhu.

  V. Dakshinamoorthy ( in Malayalam) is one of the highly respected music directors in Malayalam movies in the 60s and 70s. Supposedly, Ilaiyaraja had his carnatic music initiation under this famous music director. Dakshinamoorthy is a stalwart in carnatic melodies, has a similar style as MSV. One of his famous tamil songs is sung by Kamalahasan "Zhyayiru Oli Malayil, Thingal Kullikka Vandhal' One of V Dakshinamoorthy's notable mal movies is Villaykku Vangiya Veena.
  
  I think, Kanni Rasi Un Rasi (KJY and P Susheela) song is also V Dakshinamoorthy.

  You guys won't believe. Dakshinamoorthy is quite an old-timer. One of his earlier movies is 'Alibabavum 40 ThirudargaLum' (MGR & Banumathi).
  But I think his masterpiece song is Nandha nee en nila.

  MY GRANDPA THIRU V.DAKSHINAMURTHY has learnt karnatic music at the tender age of twelve from his guru SRI VENKATACHALAM POTRI.At the age of 14 he gave stage perfomances. In 1943 he gave devotional records for INDIA GRAMPHONES and HMV.
  MLV,VASANTHAGOKILAM,P.LEELA,P.SUSHEELA,L.R.ESHWARI,VANI JEYARAM,S.JANAKI, CHITRA,SUJATHA,KALYANI MENON(mother of RAJIV MENON),UMA RAMANAN,and MINMINI are the female singers who have sung under his music direction in malayalam ,tamil movies and the list goes on and on.   Do you know Dhakshinamoorthy was the MD for many sinhalese films in late 50's or early 60's. He has composed many snhalese hit songs, most of them by A.M. Rajah, Jamuna Rani, K.Rani, Lata Mangeshkar and some then popular sinhala artists.

  Bhavatharini is learning under Dhakshinamoorthy.

  Bhavatharini is learning from O.S.Thiyagarajan as per her interview in Sun TV. Only Raja learnt from Dhakshinamurthy.
  
  He has composed for nearly all the musicians in the film and classical industry.
  
  The music director for Annai Velankanni is another melody maker and maestro, G. Devarajan, who reigned the Malayalam film industry.
  
  His daughters too sing well and they have done Pamban swamigals Panchamirtha vannam, which was released in the Pamban swami temple.
