  I am tryig some new things out with the discussion forum with the idea of making things easier. You might hae noticed things like old threads automatically moving to archives, long threads splitting etc.. As with all new things, these features also have bugs. :(. Due to a particular bug, which I am having trouble fixing, certain race conditions are set up, which causes the main page to be over written and some response pages to be truncated. This can happen at any time (depends on when the OS decides to context switch :( ) but the problem is exacerbated when there are rapid postings, like in the anthaakshari or kElvikku bathil enna threads.
  The reconstructed main page now has threads that were started till yesterday midnight (EST). The last activity times might be incorrect, but hopefully most the new info added to the responses are there. If any one started a new thread since midnight and find it missing here, please send me mail and I'll try to restore it.

  Ravi - every morning, the first thing I do when I step into my office is to look up the DF, so much so that I have taken it for granted, expecting it to be always there. It is so disappointing when it can't be reached, as has been happening a few times recently. I understand the problems you have been having and hope that it can be resolved soon. On the other hand you can suggest an antidote to my addiction to the DF :-))
  
  Kanchana - I think that the Kelvi-Bathil thread could have played a part in the breakdown - only that Ravi is too polite to say so... :-))
