Still remember him. Once when Mohan was at his peak, he had sung many songs for him but today he is totaly forgotten.

Why not we recollect some of his hits?
Just to start:

1) Poo vadai kathu - Gopuram sAivathillai
2) Thevan kovil - not so sure
3) Thendral ennai muttamitdathu - ?

  'Thendral ennai mutham ittdhu' song is by krishna chandar and not Surender. IMO, Surender is a lousy singer. IR has used him for the most (dont know why). He has thin girlish and nasal voice.. listen to paarijadha poove song. Devan koil was terribly spoiled by him. He was good at dubbing but not for singing.
