New Page for Rare Hits of Ilayaraaja

  Friends,
  I am taking every care to put only those songs that are either not so common in other webpages or are not available at all. I am having a lot of songs of Raaja which are not so commonly found over the web. I will be very glad to honor your request for new additions.
  Before the end of this month, I am planning to put at least 100 RARE hit numbers from Raaja.
  Can anyone of you say whether INDIA 24-HOURS numbers are available over the web? I can put those numbers too. I sincerely solicit your feedback on the selection of songs as well as on the audio quality of the numbers put up in my page.

  Adikuthu Kuliru song was requested by a hardcore fan of Rajinikanth from Cincinnati, Ohio.
  Mudal Mariyathai songs were requested by a fan from Jacksonville, Florida.

  1. VANENGUM THANGA VIN MEENGAL - MUNDRAM PIRAI (Superb song....the starting tune in guitar itself speaks for the greatness and richness of Raaja's music)
  2. NETRU INTHA NERAM - TIC..TIC..TIC (This song has a huge audience at TFM)
  3. NANRI SOLLAVE UNAKU - UDANPIRAPU (very melodious)
  4. VAZHA VAIKUM KATHALUKU - ABOORVA SAGOTHARARGAL (This song was one of the greatest hits when the film was released)
  5. VAA KAATHIRUKA NERAM ILLAI - KAATHIRUKA NERAM ILLAI (Great song. Was a hit when the film was released. The BGM of this song was copied for numerous programs of SUN TV. Watch out for the second BGM)
  6.SRIRANGANIN PAATHAM - MAHANADHI (Request Song)
  7.PONGALO PONGAL - MAHANADHI (Great hit...but somehow escaped attention at TFM Webpages. Was it because it was a very short song???)
  8.MELUR MAAMAN - MAKKAL AATCHI (Request Song - Instant hit when the movie was released. Was rated as 2nd in Philips Top 10 program for many weeks. The tune is very catchy. Obviously this was the only hit in that movie)

  Actually my initial target was 28.8 modem users. But due to the overwhelming response I am planning to upload the files in MP3 format too. It will be done soon. Thanks for the suggestion.

  ippOdhenna thEvai is a brilliant number. The song starts as with a seductive mood becomes meloncholic in the interludes and back to seductive mood towards the end of the song. Suits the situation very well.

  I would like to know if anyone of you using RealPlayer 4 are able to listen to the songs without any hitch. Please respond to this request. Also if anyone of you experience any technical difficulties, please let me know about that too.
  One of the friends at TFM is not able to listen to "certain" songs with his RealPlayer 4 but is able to listen to those same songs with G2 plus Real Player.

  Songs from Koyil Kaalai have been uploaded and are available at this point. Please check out my site.
  
  Amma Amma from Uzhaipaali is available from Raja Mohan's site (MP3 links-TFM page audio section).
  
  Song from Mundanai Mudichu will be uploaded on February 15, 1999.
  
  Other attractions for Feb 15 upload are from the following movies - Niram Maaratha Pookal, Naan Potta Savaal and Manjal Nila. Once again: Rare Hits but Great Songs from Raaja from these films.
  
  As far as other requests are concerned I will try to upload them ASAP if I have copies of those songs. The response to this site in terms of audience request is just overwhelming. My hearty thanks to one and all.
