Sasirekha is a talented singer who was not used well in TFM. She has a unique voice.
A good sample for her talent is her duet "Kelviyin Naayagane" with Vani.
Another nice song is "Kalidhasan kannadhasan kavidhai nee" from the movie "Soorakkottai singakkutti".

I especially love the humming by Sasirekha in "VeeNai PEsum" - a great song by MSV, ofcourse a typical KJY singing.

Vizhiyil vizhundhu is set in sudha dhanyaasi and not hindolam. note the similiarity of the opening line to that of maasi maasam aalaana ponnu.

I feel in India only malayaalees are pronouncing za properly. We tamils mixed lla and za together. It is true that only Jensi differentiated the lla and za. Since we don't speak properly, that looks odd. The fact is that is correct. Now shankar mahadevan is the only singer who pronounces za properly. SPB and SJ have considerable amount of contribution on za kolai.

I don't know how much we can trust Music India Online, either. They make mistakes too -- with film names, film years, etc.

Similarly, can someone confirm that "thamthana thamthana thaalam varum (pudhiya vaarpugal) is indeed sung by B.Vasantha & Jensy -- i.e., no Sasirekha? RaajaNgham is of no help...

Help! We need a Manisegaran for Ilayaraja films. :-)
