ARR The Most Worst

I thing ARR is the worst music director.
Actually he is not the Music Director.
Music Editor.
Cutting and Otting is ARR's Policy.
People Whose doesn't know about Illayaraja's Background Music, Why Compare to Illayaraja

  You make a bold and true statement. ARR is technically good sound engineer. But he is not a musician. But now the pathetic thing is , India is facing a cultural change, in which, people don't want to hear the music orignated from India. M Tv and Discothe clubs are now a days very famous. Moreover, Beer is a common drink for Indian City people. Sarayam is the famous drink for Indian Village people. THis is the reason, people like more sound then only they can hear the sound in thier 'kik'. No one need real music now a days. Very few people like melodies and very very people want to hear the big sound rather than mild music. I strongly feel, because of western and golbal impact on Indian people, they are now moving towards a strange world, in which they don't want to give up the old and they want to fully enjoy the new culutre, where freedom is more. This applicable to Music also. That is the reason, now a days, even in Sangeetha Kala Sabhas are getting closed. Nattupura isaik kalaignarkal are very very few now. SOund engineers like ARR and Athithyan are able to become Music Directors. Vazhga India. Valarga avargalathu puthu Kalachchaaram, Puthu Saththam ( Isai yendru naan solla maataen).

  Why do you guys (both Ilayaraja fans and A.R.Rahman fans) bash each other like this? The simple fact is, if anyone is to be blamed for the degeneration of Tamil Film Music it is Deva and S.A.Rajkumar. The only thing that A.R.Rahman is not good in is his choice of singers. Sadhna Sargam, Mahalakshmi, Kavitha Krishnamoorthy, Vasundra Das... the list could go on and on... Is he intent on destroying his own good compositions by using their voices? What's even worse is, no sooner does he introduce a new singer (or someone who pretends to be able to sing) than Deva and S.A.Rajkumar decide they've got to follow the trend and use these singers in their films as well. Practically every film album by Deva and S.A.Rajkumar now has at least one song sung by Sukhvinder Singh or Shankar Mahadevan. This is getting worse by the month.

  If ARR is a sound engineer or whatever you wanna call. He must be DAMN good .. to replace Ilayarajah who by your name is consider an MD.

  No one can replace ilaiyaraja. ARR - the so called Sound engg or MD or Xerox or carbon copy etc., can only be compared with good MD like Deva or SAR or chandrabose.This is not a funny thing.Its real.Everybody knows about it.

  I think Ever single MD is there make a decent living Music, If people didn't like raja at first place he would be a music director now. Same applies to all. May be one's capacity is more than others.

  Its ridiculous to say arr is not a good musician. i agree he is a damn good sound engineer but he is also a good musician. i am a die hard IR fan, but i do appreciate the gems that ARR has come up with...
  think of it this way, long long ago, people were fighting who was a better musician, Mozart or Bach.... well, does it matter now ..????? the World recognizes both of them and many more of the wcm composers... thats one reason why wcm still lives till today... its because they realise that people vary in their musical taste.. but arguments will go on and on and on about who is better, but you may be assured that there will never be a definite answer! its all subjective... maybe the majority will have the same preference, thats all.....

  I didn't believe that IR fans would degrade themselves in such a pathetic manner. Guys, this is really bad for a competitive culture. I know IR fans here wouldn't even like to compare IR with ARR, but don't create abusive threads against others. I don't really know the reason why these threads are kept open by admin.   effort or caliber, i still agree not only
  me every one. every tamilian knows
  that ir is the best in melody, but
  at the same time, when a youngster like
  arr (prodigious musician) is coming up
  he has keep his way away from film
  music, he is giving report in kumudham
  that i wasted my life in film music, but
  he is accepting some films, it shows

  Dear readers,
  I disagree that ARR is a BAD md. That's unfair.
  However of late, his tunes lack melody.They have become clumsy,cluttered up with excessive orchestration. He sound too repititive and too complex. Earlier md's often gave simpler tunes, that were more melodious.
  Moreover he shouldnt sing. He makes you wince in pain when he does so!!
  But still, he is technically brilliant.

  ARR is still an amateur. It will take him 50 years to work like IR. What IR did in 30s, ARR will do when he is in his 50s.
  ARR cannot even think of composing some original theme music like IR. Don't talk about the Bombay theme. It is not music, just a flute playing some nursery rhymes. Grow up guys! It is not time yet to compare ARR with IR, we should wait until he is mature enough to be compared to IR :)
