  There was a posting by Kalai on the trio PS+SJ+VJ singing together. It was "Vandhale" from "Pondatti sonna ketukkanum".
  
  On saturday I saw the movie in Raj digital. The song starting lines are sung by SJ for Bhanupriya, VJ for devisree and PS for kovai sarala.. As Kalai mentioned PS sings in dabban kuthu style.. But u know, in the next para's, there was no such pattern. PS Sings for Bhanupriya ans well Devishree. The same case with SJ. She also sings for Kovai Sarala. I don't know why the Directors are taking care of these mistakes.
  
  Anyway, I think this is the only song the three sang together. Kudos to Chandrabose.
  
  Kalai, the solo song "Ponne poovamma, ennai paaramma"... by PS was not present. I don't what happened? I was really looking for this song,
  but hard luck.

  Subbu,
  
  I did attend the concert. As it was arranged by Telugu Association all songs except one were in Telugu. The exception was "Chittukuruvi Muththam Koduththu".
  
  PS was a delight joking all through the concert between songs and even during songs. She was also conducting, so to speak, the orchestra by coordinating Taalam and the singers and advicing the musicians to adjust the pitch to the singers. There were three other singers with her. Two of them from USA one from India.
  
  Some of the Telugu songs PS sang that I can remember from my poor knowledge in Telugu are:
  -the SPB duet from SiriSiri Muvva (Naadham song)
  -Yemandoi - a solo, I was told it was from a Savithiri movie.
  -A solo that begins something like "Muhtyaalu"
  -A duet that begins "Kushi Kushi"
  -Telugu version of "Malarnthum Malaraatha"

  Subbu, one more song of PS with MGR's dialogues:
  
  This time, it is TMS+PS, with the voices of MGR,JJ and the actor who played JJ's father (Perhaps KD Santhanam). The song is 'Kanne Kaniye Muthey Maniye' from Ragasia Police 115.
  
  Can we now list the songs of PS wherein she is the main singer, with just humming by the male voice?

  - Kadhal kadhal endru pesa.. with M L Srikanth (Utharavindri ulle vaa)

  Subbu, listen carefully to Orey Idam song again- you will realise that it is MVD. I too used to think it was SPB, but now I am sure it is MVD.

  Two great thalattu songs are:
  
  1. Kannan enna sonnaan siru pillaiye kanneer varak kaaranam aen kodi mullaiye, kattazhagup pettagame, kann valaraay en madiyil!- PS- Saaynthaadammaa Saaynthaadu-1977-78- a film with Maharishi's story, in which Sreedevi acts as a mentally undergrown girl!

  Thai oru pakkam thandhai oru pakkam...a great thaalattu from PeN Deivam (Devar's film) for Padmini... though it was a pathos, it will squeeze your heart. In between a child was will be audible saying "aayaa" calling her own mother Padmini as "aayaa". A great thalaattu indeed.

  The male voice in "Kadavul oru naal" sounds like ML Srikant( Ninaipathu Niraiverum) and not AL Ragavan.
  
  ML Srikant was MSV s assistant at that time.

  'Naan paadum paatile', in my opinion, is among the best lullabies of PS.
  
  It starts with a caressing 'Aarariro' and then:
  
  Naan paadum paattile
  vaan meenum thoongume
  athu yen kanney
  Naan thaayendro--
  aariraro, aarariro--
  
  Gentle, soothing, soulful song- it'll take the listener to a distant place, where time stands still--it will evoke thoughts long forgotten--
  it will fill you with a sorrow of past things, which can never be experienced again-
  
  - On the whole,a wonderful song!
  
  Bhavani starred Vijayakumari, Ashokan and some others- I don't remember- saw it as a child in the kottai in my village!
  
  It had one more song, which was quite popular- Indha nilavinai naan paarthaal- TMS,PS,PBS and LRE.
