Prashanth teams up with Laila in Shock


After Jai, Thiagarajan’s Lakshmi Shanthi Movies is all set to produce a thriller film Shock which is the remake of the silver jubilee Hindi movie Bhoot. Shock is not a horror movie but a sad story of incidents that take place in a middle class girl’s life. Prashanth is playing the lead along with Laila and Asin. After Aanazhagan, Thiagarajan is directing Prashanth in this movie. Apart from taking care of the direction, screen play and dialogues, Thiagarajan also acts as a strict police officer. Sarita comes in an important role. Kushboo, Ramya Krishna Vamsi, Sarath Babu, Raghuvaran, Sarada M.P., Virumaandi fame Pasupathy are among others cast in the movie. The story is jointly written by Shamir Sharma and Lalit Marthe. The music is scored by Saleem Sulaiman and lyrics are by Pa. Vijay. The background music which will send a chill down the spine of the viewer is being recorded in London. Cinematography is by M.V. Paneerselvam and the choreography is taken care of by Remo, Brinda and Rajasekhar. The art director is Yogamagi and editing is done by Sai Suresh. Stunt director Thalapathi Dinesh has given a new aspect to the stunt sequences.
Shock is being shot with a new technology such that it cannot be reproduced on pirated VCD and if attempted only portions of the movie would be recorded.

  Meera, Esha and Sidharth are all still unconscious. Surya is kurukka nedukka nadandhufying. Trisha is sitting in one corner and playing Snakes in her Nokia 3310. Madhavan enters the scene.

  M : Yaen?

  Now, Muthu comes in with all his men and starts hitting Madhavan. Surya jumps in and tries to fight them off. Madhavan jump-i jump-i adikkaraaru, (Idhudhaan trailor-la paartheenga!). Trisha doesn't know what to do. Pakkathula irukkara acid eduththu villain moonjila ooththa try panra. Aana adhu correct-a miss aagi Esha moonjila poi fall. Idha paarthu Surya tension aagi Trisha-va palaar-nu oru adi, she just falls down. Idha use senju Surya thalai-la spanner-aala orey adi. Mandai polandhufies and he falls down. Madhavan mattum dhaan baakki and there are 5 people against him. Veri-la he hits them all and goes near Trisha to see if she is alright. Pulse illa, moochu illa...body cold. Orey oru adi-la Trisha outtu (Eppadi-nu ellam kaekka koodaadhu. Pudhiya Paravai-laye appadi dhaan aachu!). Muthu now stabs Madhavan from behind. Surya, Madhavan and Trisha are now dead.
  
  Meera-ku mayakkam thelinja udaney adhirchi - Madhavan seththu pona adhirchi. Mada saambrani doctors indha time-la idha paththi sonnadhaala abortion aagidudhu.
  
  Sidharth becomes mad after learning that Trisha is dead. Election time-la Kilpauk-la semma koottam, so he is sent to Yervaadi. BR influence use panni takes care that avar payyan is not chained.
  
  Esha is saddened by the death of Surya and becomes a nun.
  
  Idhu ellathukkum kaaranam-a irundha Bharatiraja Tasmac-la daily oru full adichuttu platform-la kedkakkaaru. Idha appadiye thathroobama irukka side-la oru sori naai. Eppovum azhuttae irukkaru.
