Remember the Music Director trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, the music directors of Kamal Hassan's Alavandhaan. They seem to be missing in the Tamil scene for the last 2 years and they are doing really good in the Hindi field. They have given solid musical hits in Hindi such as; Mission Kashmir, Dil Chahtha Hai. I think they can be brought to the Tamil films again. I feel they are definitely better than Deva and a few others. I think they are the best as far as Hindi Film Music goes after A R Rahman.
I would like healthy comments who listen to Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy and have a fair knowledge of Hindi Film Industry.

Dear FArdeen/Swapan etc
Classical? Raaga?
Here, here! Hear, hear!
Indeed!
So, you know all about Classical Music and S, E, L and theirpleasant knowledgable fans who have spoken lots of sense here are ignorants, eh?
Okay, so be it.
Just to back up your claim, can you post the *Raga* of each song you have mentioned along with them? If so, can you give the swara pattern (aarhoan and avarohan, if you see what i mean) of each such raaga. Can you talk of janya raagas etc of such raagas?
I bet you will have to gather the whole pool of knowledge all of the millions of Sanu fans in the world can muster to even think of it.
Dont come back to this with your "sanu is the man of masses" claim. That doesnt corroborate the classical maestro status that you have thrust upon him (and other assorted Bollywood M.D's, nay, music thieves ) so undeservingly.
See, either Sanu is the unfortunate darling of musically ignorant, emotionally challenged Cow-belt and Bengali masses. Or he is Bhimsen Joshi's legitimate heir, a classical maestro, no less.
You are deluding your delusions if you try to defend both claims.
In the name of God, Tansen and Bismillah Khan, leave us alone, ignorant thugs!

Dear Fardeen Bhai,
I m a "very cheap music composer" and compose for local shows. I have send thousands of cassetes of my composition featuring local singers to different producers and directers but no results. There is no cassete industry office where i have not gone. Many directers listen to my compositions but never called me. If u hav really a good soft Sanu like voice then plz go to bombay as they really need a Sanu substitute.I also have a Sanu touch in my voice but my voice is very heavy like Vinod Rathour. Nadeem Shavan has indirectly indicated that they need a geniune Sanu substitute.Wishing u best of luck
Bye for now

Fardeen
I dont give a sshit about Hindi Music itself. All of them are copy cats in my opinion. I only like Ilaiyaraaja, AR Rahman, Yuvan Shankar Raja because they are all tamil music directors.
So stop cribbing about that bloody Kumar Sanu. I dont give a sshit abt any of those people like Kumar Sanu etc.
However I must admit he is the most irrritating singer ever. with a nauseating nasal nonsense voice!
This forum is abt SEL. People are asking him about how his experiences were in composing.
Please stop talking abt Kumar Sanu!!!

hahahahha
Yea what else can you say abt these hindu musical thieves like Anu Malik Nadeem Shravan and ofcourse the biggest copycat of them all RD Burman (I think RDB still tops i2fs copy list)

KJ Yesudas's son vijay yesudas maybe compared to "things" like Kumar Sanu.
I think SPB and KJY would be too far ahead to enable any reasonable comparison.
I wanna laugh at the guy who brought up the classical adeptness of Kumar Sanu. Nobody can beat KJ Yesudas!

dear fardeen,
yes u r right my friend, a classical maestro like bhimsen wud sing a classical song better than sanu da, but wud he be able to put in the same amount of emotion? i am afraid not.
if he were able to, then he wud be a playback singer wudn't he!!
dear tapan,
if u r ignorant to the sentiments in sanu da's voice, then u can as well forget all ur education in music, because expression of emotion is the final and most essential substrate of singing.
dear V,
SEL, have only composed one tamil album, and the rest of their albums are all in hindi, so if u dont care about hindi music, then u wud probably be better of in some other forum. ur absence will be most welcome here.
if u want to reply to this V, then disclose your real name and location u wimp, stop hiding behind a pseudonym...grow up.

Swapan-da poda vaada adhaanda idhaanda:
You were the one who claimed classical enlightedness in Sani's singing. Now, you yourself say classical is not important. Obviously, your arguments have an expiry date of one day from date of manufacture(which is what they are ..."manufactured")
It is obvious you know neither about classical music nor emotions. It is indeed a pity that an emotionally and musically handicapped ignorant vapid wastrel like you has gained an education enough to access the internet, and what's more post a message in a knowledgeable forum.
I think we better open another thread and name it something else so that these sanu-sani-cow-dung-thugs dont hijack a sane discussion.
I repeat in the name of God, Tansen and Bhimsen, LEAVE US ALONE AND TAKE YOUR "JAI SANU.BOLO KUMAR SANU KI JAI" Bhajans to an appropriate cyber-mandir of Mr.Sanu.

dear tapan,
u can find out about me, i am a doctor doing post graduate training in emergency medicine at goodhope hospital, birmingham.
can i know about ur education please.
it seems ur english vocabulary is quite impressive, but u lack the brains to comprehend what i was saying. by saying that emotions are the most important aspect of singing, i am not implying that 'classical singing' is not important.
do tell me if u cud fit this into ur pea sized brain, if not, i will post this to u in a simpler manner, OK best of luck, but dont stress ur brain too much

Hi Tapan,
Our Knowledgeable Brother! Let me give a big welcome to you!! You know a lot man, you know a lot!! You know raagas, you know the aarohans and avarohans of the raagas!!
And you also know how to divide our loving country India on the basis of regional bias!! Yes, Man! You hate the Bengalis and the Cow-belt people!! Am I right? Now I understand, why this India has so many terrorist-prone areas!!
So much of hatred for your own country people??? How do you say that you love music? Music-lovers know love only; they do not know hatred. Did your music knowledge, your raaga-knowledge teach you to build up so much of hatred within you?
Then SHAME on you!!! SHAME on your music knowledge!!!

Hi V!
Your vocabulary is quite strong, yaar! You know all the abusive languages!!!
But it is a pity that you can not appreciate a genious like Kumar Sanu. You can not appreciate a legend like R D Burman.
How do you say that RD, NS etc. are copycats? How much do you know about Hindi songs? You know nothing. You yourself have admitted that you don't care about Hindi songs. Then how do you dare to say that the above MDs are copycats.
You know what? You are among the people who do not know anything beyond their own circle. You are like a frog in the well. Try to be a frog in the sea. Come out of your own circle. Expand your horizon. Create love within you.
How do you say that you are a music-lover if you do not have love within you?
You should better join the terrorists in the country who are trying to divide India.

Hi Swapan and Fardeen,
Would you please give a contact link or e-mail address where I can contact Kumar Sanu? I really want SEL and KS to come together. Unfortunately, Ehsaanji is not visiting the forum for quite sometime. So, I shall like to talk to Kumar Sanu regarding this.

Hi Ehssan,
It seems that you are not visiting the forum for quite some time. Will you not welcome me? I am a new fan of yours. In 4-5 Hindi films that you have composed music, you have already proved your versatility. In another two decades time, you will be comparable to the great RD.
I want to know a lot about you. I know a bit about Shankar. He has very good knowledge about Indian classical music. Not only that, he has good knowledge about Mohammed Rafi and Kishore Kumar songs. I came to know this from Sa Re Ga Ma on Zee TV.
But I do not know about the background of you and Loy. Would you please let me know? I came to know that Loy is a very good guitarist. I think one of you two has sound knowlegde of Western classical also. That is why, your combo is so great.
Now, what are the Hindi films at your hand? I know about Rudraaksh. Who are the singers in this film? What are your other films?
Yes, I am a Kumar Sanu fan also. But that does not mean that I can not be a SEL fan. Music can not have such divisions or compartmentalizations. Music only teaches love. Am I correct, Ehsaanji?
