  Gowri..this is really annoying. This is pure mean-spiritedness. You not only start really pointless threads, You come to other threads and bait people. There is a limit to people's patience. Whats with you about IR ? You have any personal angst against him ? The man is a giant in his field. If you are into any particular profession seriously you will understand how difficult it is to achieve a position like the one he had achieved. If you feel anything wrong with this music. Please enlighten us. If you do not have any thing to share regarding his music or any other MD's music. Just dont dilute the standards of this already deteriorating forum. This forum is a medium which can be used to enrich ones knowledge and appreciation of music. You do not seem to help others in this nor do you seem to use this for your own benefit, You are but abusing this forum to give life to your mean-spiritedness. You probably dont realise what is really happening to your psyche. I just cant seem to enter this forum without out being annoyed by posts like these. I strongly urge you to respect the knowledgeable and appreciate the sentiments of saner fellow readers who might be frequenting this forum to get the latest news/ background etc on film music releases. I could very well used a nick and abused you in the filthies of languages. But unlike some people I have control over my emotions and biases. I have included my email id.   That line was just a joke. In the sense like, why kick a fuss over Vairamuthu joining with Ilayaraaja.
  
  Believe me I have been abused pretty much and even when I open non-controversial threads, certain people still insist on making snide remarks. But I couldn't care less. After all this is a discussion forum and you are supposed to listen to all sides of a story.
  
  Some people here are making Ilayaraja a cult.
  Amongst religions the least tolerable is Islam. It is unable to laugh at itself and this is what IR will become if allowed to continue in this manner.
  
  Calling the threads I have started as pointless and accusing me of diluting this already deteriorating forum is, in my opinion, uncalled for.

  The comment "Paavam ...." was indeed a funny comment, directed at hard core fans who will go into any lengths to raise up their idol, even if it means trampling on other artistes.
  
  A few posts below mine, there was a rebuttal making references to ARR and MSV.
  Did a single ARR or MSV fan raise objections to that?
  
  No MSV fan have ever condemned or blamed another artiste for being out of the scene.
  But everyone from Kamalahasan, K Balachander, Mohan, Maniratnam etc etc have been called names because they have stopped using Ilayaraaja. I have even read one person "hoping and praying" that a certain movie will fail, so that the person will learn a lesson.
  
  If this is not cult-ish, what is it?
  
  So, how did this comment of mine come about? Well, upon reading the thread, an earlier comment made flashed across my mind. I won't repeat it but suffice to say it was very deragotory of Vairamuthu. And now, suddenly some people are happy that Ilayaraja is working with Vairamuthu again. This is hypocrisy at its worst.
  
  I have nothing against Ilayaraja per se.
  I am just a lone voice against a sea of madness.
