  Kamal's next movie has been titled 'Mumbai Express' to be directed by Singeetham Srinivasa Rao-News courtesy 'Junior Vikatan' dated 6/10/2004.
  
  I think it will be in Hindi&Tamil,whether it's the same script Kamal wanted to do with Madhuri Dixit is still not known.

  The third news item in the above article says Kamal is teaming up with Bharat Shah again(after Hey Ram)for a thriller with lots of action likely to be made in Tamil/Hindi/Kannada.Is it the one which had title KG????Suddenly there is a spate of reports on Kamal's next movie none of which actually give a clear picture on whats happening.

  This one says they have a confirmation from Kamal's office that his next film id titled 'KumaraSambhavam' with Tabu&directed by S.S.Rao.Generally the media create a lot of confusion regarding Rajini films,now they are doing it to Kamal also.

  Kamal wrote an Outstanding screenplay (and dialogues) - for "kuruthippunal", and even though it was remade from Govind Nihalani's hindhi "drohkaal", after watching "kuruthippunal" - nihalani was stunned and declared - "this is a remake which is better than my original!!"
  
  I've said it before and i would say it again - Kamalhassan is Martin scorcese and Robert de nero - under the same skin!!
  
  If at all someone makes a courageous, hard-hitting, socially relevant and democratic-conscious movies like "JFK", "A few Good men", "Born on the 4th of July", "Siege", "Peace Maker" et al - in india - it would be Kamalhassan.
  
  I long to watch Kamalhassan redeeming his "tryst with destiny" of resurrecting a glorious chapter in Thamizh/Indian films.
  
  Let kamalhassan continue to be a "Rebel with a noble cause" - rather than being a filthy rich, power-mad showman, which most others in the profession seem to be.

  Kamal Hassan has this burning desire to act in a Hindi film and shake off the image of a “Madrasi hero” in Mumbai. So once again he is teaming up with Bharat Shah who had earlier produced his epic disaster Hey Ram.
  This film will be made in three languages, as the diamond merchant and the veteran actor will be meeting over this weekend in Mumbai to work out the basic format and viability of this action thriller. Tinnu Anand the actor-director was in Chennai to meet Kamal and had discussed a story idea with him a couple of days back.
  
  If the talks work out, then a suitable director will be fixed along with the dates of others stars. The frontrunner at the moment is Gautham Menon who has written a brilliant script about a gripping tale of an middle aged police officer who uncovers corruption in the force.

  Everybody thought Kamal was joking when he made announcements about his new film during the release of Mouli's VCD. His new film's name is in English and Tamil. One of the leading political parties of Tamilnadu has already objected to the title.
  
  Names like 'Kumarasambhava' and 'Marmayogi' were suggested, but Kamal ahs announced that the name is going to be partially in English and Tamil. Everybody thought he was joking. But, he wasn't.
  
  'Mumbai Express' is the name of his new film. The moment he announced it, Thirumavalavan of Viduthalai Siruthai shot a letter out to him.
  
  
  He is okay with Mumbai but he wants the Express changed.
  
  Kamal has refused point blank. Does this mean there will be another fight like it happened with 'Sandiar'?
  
  May be. Thirumavalavan, Krishnaswamy and Ramdas are going to unite to derail this 'Express'. Kamal wouldn't change the film' name until the very end because it wil bring in lot of publicity for his film.
  
  Audience will be made the fool again!
