Tired of Deva. Need someone like ManiSharma for TFM

All times in EST +10:30 for IST.

Based on the Vairamuthu's logic, whoever MDing 40 films a year, out of which, at least 10 films will become hit that will leads that MD to be successful in the following year also.

Only exception for the above is ARR.

Deva is the only one who is utilizing this very well. At present he is scoring music for more than 40 films and keep accepting more offers. Regardless of his music producers are at the feet of Deva, because he is being the MD for Hit movies.

It was the case in Telugu Film Music until two years back. Keeravani was the only one who scored maximum no of movies, Ofcourse Keeravani never and ever should be compared with Deva, Now Manisharma a new arrival, has started giving many movies with good stuff.

For healthier TFM for these days, Picky ARR and IR would not be sufficient.

  Probably sangeetha is someone very close to manisharma and she/he is building up international popularity for the unheard manisharma. Deva would disappear if there are serious copyright violation laws in India too.

  MANI SHARMA WHO TELLS HIM SELF AS DISCIPLE OF ILAYARAJA HAS VERY GOOD STUFF.

  Guys,
  Since there is talk about Mani Sharma,
  , He lives in T.Nagar, Madras. A very good friend of Mine. Infact he is my guru! in music, I have seen him play right from my school days. He played KB of A.V.Ramanan, he also introduced me to play for him.
  He has great studio in T.Nagar, where many of the top noches including KR records.
  
  Mani is great composer and has a good knowledge both Western Classical and south Indian Classical music. He is great fan of IR, has played kb for Raja in few movies.
  
  Most of KB playing techs I know I learnt from Mani. 3 yrs ago HE was THE LEADING KB player in Madras, has all the latest gadgets.
  Bascically a Telugu guys, but born , bought up in Laksminarashiman street , T.Nagar.
  Great chap , anyday he is much better than Deva.

  Srikanth, it will be interesting to hear what the industry, musicians feel about IR and ARR, etc.. How different they are, like night and day, etc... If any news of symphonies is available, what about the new International studio of IR, etc... What about Jaya Jaya He?   It won't be fair! How can you expect someone who is becoming popular to comment on another MD? That too it won't be nice if you say that you're asking on behalf of a bunch of guys who discuss TFM in the internet!!
  
  Similarly, I hate the idea of asking ARR in every interview about what he thinks of IR. C'mon! This guy has carved a niche for himself, and you keep asking him about what he thinks of IR. Its like asking Jackson what he thinks of Paul McCartney in each and every interview of his.

  It is miserable for TFM industry to have Deva like Music Director. Recently I heard a telugu song (Chiranjeevi's movie - don't remember name of the movie I guess it is Master) "Trilothamma", it is the attai copy of "Kalyaanath theen Nilaa, kaaichaatha paal nila" composed by Ilayaraja long ago in one of the Mammooty's movie. He should feel ashamed to steal someone's talent and use it for his own living. Deva is very very very very notorious for stealing songs.

  Digressing..
  IMO, Sandeep chowta is definitely better than Mani Sharma. I recently saw a Telugu movie 'Samarasimha Reddy'. Music - Mani Sharma. Each song and BGM reminded me of some other song. Engeyo kaetta feeling..

  I have worked with him. He refused to accept movies until last few years, inspite of his great talent he use to say he is not yet a fully developed composer , he is a very humble person.,
  
  Finally he is my Guru.
  
  When people like DEVA who just copies anything from anywhere without any sense,
  Mani who is a well trained musician, comes from a great musical background (Mr.Sharma is also MD in telugu field) there is no harm in calling Mani a great composer.
  
  People call Yovan Raja a grear composer, has to produced a great hit till now!, he is called so because every one knows his background

  Oh!Dear!I know he is a MD in TeFM.Sure, yes...and I discovered it the hard way, FYI...You know, I actually watched a movie MD-ed by him...and as I mentioned, out of anguish and pain, I might add, if it wasnt noise pollution, it was nothing. And my experience with the audio of his other movies hasnt left me much pleased either...
  
  You have every right to call him great, dear but then you conveniently forget I have a right to dispute it!!!
  If he says he is not a fully developed composer, then perhaps one should call him honest.
  Lastly, the same old trick..how much music do I know!!!! How does it matter..I know enough to recognise 'greatness'and distinguish it from 'goodness'. It isnt always, perhaps, that musical acumen goes with a sense of discrimination..but then you cant have everything, can you, if you get my drift.

  I got pissed off when people just write not knowing anything about the MD, People like Mani have come up due to thier sheer hard work, just luck will not help. Raj aka Yaro: you are jobless that why you are creating trouble.
  
  btw:how much music you know? before pointing at anyone, you should know thier background, how they came up etc. Try to hear few mani's composition, you will find some great arrangement. I am not supporting him just bcos he is my friend/guru, I know his music, I have played his scores, which has pretty high std.
  It is not good accusing all the other artists without knowing what they had done.
  
  BTW:If you ask me What has Yovan Raja done?, he along with his sis just survies on goodwill of IR.
  
  Tell me a good song from Yovan -- KR is 10000000 times better than YR. Just out of the CAN - Pop and funk grooves and backup vocals does not make a song good.
