Prashanth teams up with Laila in Shock


After Jai, Thiagarajan’s Lakshmi Shanthi Movies is all set to produce a thriller film Shock which is the remake of the silver jubilee Hindi movie Bhoot. Shock is not a horror movie but a sad story of incidents that take place in a middle class girl’s life. Prashanth is playing the lead along with Laila and Asin. After Aanazhagan, Thiagarajan is directing Prashanth in this movie. Apart from taking care of the direction, screen play and dialogues, Thiagarajan also acts as a strict police officer. Sarita comes in an important role. Kushboo, Ramya Krishna Vamsi, Sarath Babu, Raghuvaran, Sarada M.P., Virumaandi fame Pasupathy are among others cast in the movie. The story is jointly written by Shamir Sharma and Lalit Marthe. The music is scored by Saleem Sulaiman and lyrics are by Pa. Vijay. The background music which will send a chill down the spine of the viewer is being recorded in London. Cinematography is by M.V. Paneerselvam and the choreography is taken care of by Remo, Brinda and Rajasekhar. The art director is Yogamagi and editing is done by Sai Suresh. Stunt director Thalapathi Dinesh has given a new aspect to the stunt sequences.
Shock is being shot with a new technology such that it cannot be reproduced on pirated VCD and if attempted only portions of the movie would be recorded.

  I wonder if this Shock will be a hit. Bhoot was mostly seen by urban audiences, and I'm sure even urban audiences in TN would have seen it, so why would they want to see Shock?

  Mani Climax.
  
  Maddy Confronts BR and comes back home.
  Meera goes to the kitchen to prepare coffee. Meanwhile Maddy takes his revolver and is about to leave.
  Meera: Enga pore?
  Maddy: Kolradhukku:
  Meera: vendaam
  Maddy: Aama. BR indha ulaguthukku vendaam.
  meera: Naan unna poga vida maaten.
  She runs towards him and tries to take the revolver away from him. She takes it and is about to throw it in the gas in kitchen.
  Maddy: hey hey ennadi panre. nerupula poatta vedikkum. kodu inga adha...
  He tries to snatch it from her, and it happens that he accidentally pulls the trigger and meera gets killed..
  no bgm at this point. maddy's face is shown in close up. first there is surprise in the eyes, then anguish and slowly pain settles down.
  he sits down on the floor and puts meera in his lap. revolver in other hand...
  sandai kozhi BGM.....
  he gets up kisses her on forehead and leaves.
  
  election results are being announced..surya is leading as of now..
  Standing in front of the crowd surya waves at them.
  
  Everyone wants surya to speak something....
  
  Surya starts: Sandosham. Neenga enna jeyikka vachadhukku sandosham. Naan kanda promise ellam panna maaten. first indha thogudhi suthama irukkanum. aduthu road. next electricity.
  
  A person shouts "THAPPU..NIRUTHU".
  
  Everyone turns and see Maddy standing there.
  
  Maddy comes to the stage.
  
  He starts talking.
  
  Maddy: Nee solradhu ellam appuram. Mudhal la enna madhiri aalungala enna panna pore.
  Podhu janangale. Naan nallavan illa. porukki. evlo pera close panni irukken. appo ellam enakku kannula therinjadhu panam and power. inikku naan en kayyalaye ennoda meera va konutten. accident dhaan. irundhalum adhukku naan dhaan poruppu. ippo enakku theriyudhu mathavangaloda vali. evlo peroda vaazhkaya ippadi nasam panni iruppen.
  idhukku naan BR mela pazhi poda virumbala. avar dhaan enna kolai panna solraar appadinaa enakku enga poachu budhi.
  Enakku adhu thappunu theriyala. yen? enakku padippu arivu illai. chinna vayasula irundhe enna thatti kekka aal illai. adhuku indha samudhayam dhaan poruppu appadinu muzhu pazhiyaum samudhayam mela pottu thappika naan thayar illai.

  after telling this he keeps walking.
  
  idha paathutu irukka arjun has tears in his eyes....trisha comes close to him..they both hold hands...
  arjun: trisha..naan unnai kalyanam pannikaren. 5 varusham us poi sambadichutu varen. adhu varaikkum enakaaga wait pannu..unnoda act ku naana maasa maasam money transfer panren. adha surya kitta koduthu pasanga padippuku selavazhikka sollu.
  
  after listening to all this surya comes to the mike again.

  crowd roars.
  
  Scene: Jail.
  
  Maddy in jail. with hair, no mush and planting trees. he has lots of books. reads them with help of jailer.
  
  Surya in his thogudhi..chinna pasangalukku books and dress distribute panraan.
  
  esha and trisha teaching in corporation school.
  
  sidd in us, sending a long mail to trisha and transferring 1000$.
  
  jana gana mana BGM.

  hey ferrrari this climax was very very nice, easily the pick of the other climaxes... it is not comical, but a thought provoking serious good one.......... ppl cannot be blamed if they mistaken this as actual climax....

  btw, dont mind the digression..... i think the idea (making the engineers/doctors return the money spent on them by govt bfore going abroad) is very good....but is it feasible and possible?
  ppl must think about this........... if it can ,, it must be implemented
