  This weeks pol "best album of the year 2003" is created for the ARR fans and its a crap. they have given 3 super hit album of HJ, 2YSR, 2 VS, 2 IR albums and with that they have given BOYS to vote.. only 1 arr album. in that way al other md fan's vote is going to be split accordint to their own taste and all arr fans vote will go to boys.
  
  Y didnt they include KKS, E20U18, Parasuram and udhaya in that list?? because they want all arr fans to vote to boys and dont want it to be split. check out

  Recently I saw a VCD of Vidhyasagar's Live Music program that was held in Singapore in 2003. It was a good one. Vivek did the song intros.
  
  1. First song of the program was a FusionMusic of Thiagaraaja keerthanai - 'EntharO mahAnubAvO'. That was wonderful.
  
  2. Most of the songs selected were fast with noisy rhythm. Though some of them were enjoyable, after sometime, I got headache.
  
  3. The rare melody songs performed here and there were excellent and showcased VS' talent.
  
  4. Overall, VS is an extremely talented composer -- but he needs to give more melody songs and come out of the current trend noisy dance songs.
  
  5. I like Vivek. But in between he said to VS that he is the 'melody king' after MSV. Surprisingly, VS also thanked and accepted the complement. Was wondering how they could forget Raaja's two decades in between... Felt sorry for Vivek - for his stature, he does not have to do this stage-pleasing.
  
  6. Don't know what best rated means. If it is album and commercial success - yes, VS is the right choice. But if it means talent -- no one can dream of going near Raaja. Recently I read an interview of Painter Hussain somewhere. He mentioned 'There is no relation between Talent and Success.' True.

  i think subbiah is correct. though vs gave some hits but can not compared with arr or ir in terms of talent. sometime ago i read an article about jawahar wattal who gave many platinum hits in hindi pop and says says one of his album competite with arr's vande matram. but in fact as like what hussein said talent is different from success. as though he gave many hit album but he lacks professionalism when compared with arr. rahman sits on the peak of everest. after a decade of his work still md's lacks sound quality and instrumentation ability while compare with rahman.
