YSR'S NEW PROJECT'S...

well i heard that his next flim would be with vijay n priyankachoupra staring in it
and the cd's will be out in july
and another one with prabhudeva staring in it n this will out in june i guess...
well more to come from him n i hope that he make's it big....

  I heard JuSe for the 10th time today. I did not want to pass judgement before actually hearing the song. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised with the album. As no jalra has said, I specifically looked out for these similiarities but could not notice them. Maybe I just missed them. I enjoyed this album immensely especially Aanandam, SIngaara Kanna and Thithippa. The album will be another hit for Yuvan, maybe not as big a dheena ot TI but a great overall album nevertheless.

  I saw the song picturisation,seems okay but nothing great. I really expected more for the picturisation, especially for Idhu Kadhala and Kanmunne, however we shall see as the film is reported to be very good.
  
  YSR's next upcoming projects are Lovers, Enna Solla Pogirai and Popcorn. I look forward to hearing them.

  I read in a kumudam (or is it kumudam reporter ?), that 'Enna solla pogirai' is dropped 'coz of 'not-so-good' storyline (????), Producer is planning to use the same songs for another movie with a different director !

  At least it is good to hear that YSR's songs will be used in another film. We can be sure that YSR's songs would have been the good point of the movie!
  I hear that Lovers and Popcorn are slated for release within the next 2 months. It will be good to hear some good YSR music as JuSe is not available abroad.I am really anxiously waiting to hear YSR's music.

  I instantly liked three songs from JS, 'sringArak kaNNA', 'Anandam' and 'thiththippAi'. 'thiththippAi' sounds very much Rajini-sh (not Osho :)). SPB's voice reminds me of Rajini singing, I had the same feeling for Dheena song 'vaththikkuchchi'. Is it because of the high pitch? Yuvan has nicely mixed gadam in 'sringArak kaNNA' and 'Anandam'. Vijay Jesudas song was first irritating because of the techno stuff. After couple of listenings, it sounds ok. Other two songs are run-of-the mill stuff. Overall not a bad album and not a great album either. I would place this album at the same level of MTV.

  I fully agree, My fav. songs from this album matches with yours .... my order will be thithippaa, aanandam and Sringara .,
  
  Pa. Vijay is the lyricst for all songs except 'Aaanandham' - which is by Elango ("Manjak kaattu mainaa" pukazh Chemical Engineer :-)
  
  As far as lyrics and choice of singers are concerned, I am more than satisfied, No Sadhana Sargam and No thamizhk kolai (Except 'Oh shalalalala' which we can simply ignore as non-exisiting :-)
  
  SPB and Unni Krishnan have done their best for YSR always and the trend continues, I am really eager to know what YSR CAN compose for a real Rajni movie ..... May be I won't get a chance to see it in reality ... GOK :-)

  BTW, Yuvan is composing for Vijayakanth movie 'rAjjam' right? I read in couple of articles about the thaththuvap pAdal shooting for this movie. I am eager to know how he has composed for this movie. Do you know when the album is coming out?

  Though, I am not a fan of YSR kind of music, I eagerly look forward to see how the 'little kid' of my fav MD is doing. Not bad, he is doing okay. But surely, I feel, this album is lower in quality compared to many others of his. The negatives are - I dont like the way the tune flows (in Vijay Yesudass's song for eg or sringAra kanna), also thiththipai sounds too familiar, next pudhusai song betrays his fascination for ARR - he should avoid using the same instruments or style of usage as ARR. The positives are - he seems to know how to use percussion to highlight/accent the notes in the tune, which is the speciality of indian music (thAlam), there is a lot of variety to the beats and though the songs are very rhythm oriented you dont feel it is a looped kind of music. Another positive feature is - he is fanatical about recording and the closed-miced sound of instruments is very pleasant to hear. To me an okay album. I liked the 'Anandam' song ( a gentleman's song ? :)) Good job by unnikrishnan too.

  Yes, ARR and YSR are very similar, but I can see YSR trying to differentiate himself. He also has a particular style I think (no, it is just not singing yE yea yeA :)) Next, to IR, I listen to ARR and YSR in that order. But nowadays, the more I listen to IR, less and less, I listen to other MDs. Because of work and other stress, I prefer very soothing music and so even the least peppy music seems to increase my stress than decrease it. Maybe, I think I am just getting older :) That is the reason the only song I liked in JS is 'anandham'..Even this song has got some inner tension in it, IMHO. BTW, I should have added a :) next to 'how the little kid of my fav MD is doing' :) :) Also, I need to add only YSR's kind of music will be popular these days. What I like is all old-fashioned, I know :)
