Ajay Devgan and Vivek Oberoi can’t stop raving about the songs of Mani Ratnam’s Yuva. “A.R. Rahman and Mani Sir and dynamite together,” says Vivek on the sets of Indra Kumar and Ashok Thakeria’s Masti, and adds, “The six songs Rahman has recorded for the film are mind-blowing.”

Ajay Devgan, his co-star in Yuva and Masti, uses the same words to describe them. Incidentally, when the film was launched earlier this year, Mani Ratnam had decided not to have a single song in it.

Vivek also feels that Abhishek Bachchan’s is the best role and best performance in the film. “That guy’s career will take off in a big way after Yuva,” predicts Vivek.

  Its pretty annoying coming into this thread in the morning and finding some chat type of bantering posted in a thread like this where we come to discuss AE's music.
  
  I am not opposed to non-music posts. But lets keep it to minimum. Please dont post like a chat room. Especially to paran, aishwarya, C~P, Ferrari, curses, MADDY when you guys talk abt Trisha being your wife, Sidharth being toilet cleaner, Its friggin' irritating to read such posts in a thread like this.

  Fanaah's a word of Sufi origin. It means destruction (in the spiritual sense).

  no way curses......fanah means giving urself to somebody.............generally it is used for dedicating urself to allah........
  
  it disturbs me to know that a song like fanah is going to be wasted as a discotheque song........the song has so much depth both lyrics and tune wise,hope mani gives better treatment to the song......i thought it would be picturised like "frozen(madonna)","enigma","zombie(cranberries)".......we can only hope.....
