Suresh,
With Juke Box you will create a .rmj file which you will have to rename as a .rm file. In addition you have to create a .ram while - this is a text file that can be created with MS Notepad. Type in the location of your song file - http://www.suresh.com/yoursong.rm and name this file as yoursong.ram On your web page give a link to this .ram file. This will permit the song to be streamed instead of being downloaded.

another important point that you may have to notice is that there is an option in the real jukebox to encode the songs either in the "secure" or "insecure" mode.
This you will encounter when you follow:
Options--->preferences--->encoding options
There is a box at the end of the encoding options tab. This has to be left "unchecked". this ensures that everybody can listen to your .rm file. Else you will find that when you are able to access the file from your computer , others will find it impossible.
Coming to encoding through Real G2 producer:
In the real G2 producer there are many options. If you are encoding from a mecia device, the procedure is :
File-->New session--->
You get three options. If you plan to to encode it from a cassette, you need to go through a different path. First you need to obtain a .wav file through "cool edit" or "goldwave". the encoding methods for the above softwares will need separate tutorials themselves. You may mail me regarding the same.
Of the three options, live broadcast is ruled out. Regardless of your choice, ("from file" or from "media device"), the source and destination file names are to be specified( and so are the petty details like name of the song that appears in the tab etc..).
You then encounter a series of windows:
(1)Single rate or sure stream -- choose single rate.
(2)28K, 56K,single ISDN etc...choose 28K
(3)Voice only, voice with BGM, Music, Stereo music---I choose "stereo music" as my inpout files are mostly stereophonic. IF you have a mono input, choose "music". A "music" file is smaller in size than "stereo music" file. An approximate size of the "stereo music file" is 700 - 850 kb.
Now you are ready for encoding.
For recording, you need to:
(1) go to "Start" (at the bottom left corner of your screen)
(2) Run "SNDVOL32"
A window with volume controls appears. Goto "option"--->"properties"
Check "recording".
If you are recording from an audio source, you need to check in "line in". If you are encoding from a CD check "CD" and as applicable.
click 'ok'. You will "Recording control" window. Be sure to keep the source of recording say CD or line in at 50% of the max value. Also ensure that your "cassette player" volume is neither too high nor too low.
Now you are completely ready for the recording. Press start in the pruducer to start the recording.
The usefulness of Real G2 is that it allows you encode at "20Kbps" whereas "Real juke box"'s minimum rate is 30 kbps.
The quality of the files are not very different. Hence choose real G2 as it gives you smaller files.
I think I have given a reasonbly exhaustive accoun onhow to encode. Most of the information has been collectedfrom varios Web - dhadhaas like Rex and Shibu. Hope this helps.

I have noticed that when i capture the audio using CE96 , I get a better quality in amplitude ( especially for those old songs which i have recorded in cassettes) when i normalize the wave upon completion. CE96(free[trial] version) creates version 3 .RA files where as most of us are already onto G2player(free[trial] or paid) . But the quality of this recording is much better compared to the encoding done by RA encoder (ver 5) whether you capture audio directly into RA encoder or capture it on CE96 save it as .WAV file and use RA encoder to "load from file" and save it as .RM file. The size of .RM file is 40-50% less than that of .RA file. CEP is supposed to be the "state of art" editing software and has tons of options to better quality, but it is expensive;-))

You are welcome. I just did what Rex and Shibu did for me. I will upload it as soons as possible. Just now I remembered that I have to upload Kaliyoonjal-Yathramozhi, which had been encoded longtime back :-(
rameshb:
I agree with you that CE is really cool. But I do not think an .ra file is bigger than its .rm counterpart when encoded from the same .wav file. I think it is the other way round.
Ravi:
I am flattered. But the truth is that I know absolutely nothing about HTML and other stuffs :-)
