CAUTION: Please create good Lyrics and good Tamil Films !!!

Hello all,(Specially to directors and song writers)

I'm a Citizen of India.
I like our culture very much and the welfare of our children community.

But nowadays, the films are becoming worse..
Showing unwanted scenes and very vulgar lyrics...
These represent that the directors and Song writers
dont think about the Youngsters welfare and they just need commercial sales.

I can see many kids singing vulgar lyrics without
knowing what they are singing.

I CANNOT TOLERATE THIS !!!

Please have a look at Pithamagan Film.
it has entertainment but doesnt teach any bad thinkings to youngters.

Today films (so many), like Boys, Thiruda Thirudi, etc ... are high harmful to youngsters community.

Please avoid like these films.

IF NOT , THEN I HAVE TO FORCE ALL DIRECTORS AND SONG WRITERS BY STRONGLY COMMENTING THEM IN FORUMS.

Remember: Prevention is better than Cure !!!

  I 100% agree with you. It's a serious problem but I am afraid we dont have a solution for this. The govt/censor board should realize that this heavily influences the young generation and $crews up their minds. It's sad state of TFM. Dont forget, it's not just TFM. Hindi films are worse than ours.
  
  Besides just watch these western rap songs on Mtv. The lyrics and their dance movements.... what you say about that?? Our guys just try to be like them.. bcos they think it's cool. This is what you expect to see when people literally try to copy the western culture. I watched a few hindi music videos recently. Atmost vulgarity and half-nudity. Pop-album engira peril, our culture is just getting raped. Tamil paattu lyrics ellam oru kaalathil kavidhaigalaga irundhadhu. Ippa verum kuppai.

  cho, agree with you except for the last statement 'get used to it'. not sure what u meant by that.
  Since its not likely that a thorough cleanup will take place, one way to alleviate the evil is to promote the alternatives - hope the following for classical and carnatic music remains as good as ever. In the end, people will follow what they want to follow, cant be helped :(

  I'm nowhere close to being a parent, leave alone a concerned one! :)
  
  The problem is there's nothing we can do about this.. Except perhaps one thing..
  Do u guys know about the ig nobel awards?
  
  We cud all commission an "awards" function...
  Giving awards to stuff like:
  "Dirtiest lyrics"
  "Cheapest gyrations"
  "Economics genius (cutting down budget by cutting down on clothes!)"
  "The OTIS award (The best lift... of songs!)"
  
  The sarcasm might do the trick. Maybe even let know that we don't appreciate it a bit!
  But u never know! They might be spurred on and actually go on to make cheaper stuff!
  Now that u've realised i myself am not sure about my idea... I rest my case! :)

  They don't have to come up with good lyrics and good music. At least they can stay away from insulting good songs and legendary singers, as they have done in that remix song in "Pithamagan".

  I strongly disagree with The first guy...
  We never get distracted by the directors or lyrics,
  we watch films just for fun...
  but eventhough i can comment on it, now adays they are showing what is happening only,
  Regarding boys , i have seen many guys having beer , etc in my collegeee.
  So they are showing what is happening in Tamilnadu.
  We 4got abt the film boyz or thi thirudi , as soon as we came out.
  But you old persons think of it all day, and put the blame that youngsters may get distracted...

  May be you don't bother, but there are people who just go by what they see/what they here. Why do you think certain ads have the message "This stunt has been performed under strict safety supervision"? THAT is a result of what is happening.
  
  I know what you are talking about, coz I do not bother about these stuff. But there are crazy idiots around who can be easily misguided.
  
  Just because things being shown are really happening, doesn't mean that it can be shown on a larger screen. Same applies to the lyrics.

  I can surely bet some of the protectors in the old responses would be the worst.
  They would have done all the thing that was shown in the movie, and when they see it the real time, they cant accept it so they start critising for the name sake to show they dont do anything and are pure. they are the worst people in this world.

  Mainly , the most wrong person is the Censorship guys. Something wrong happening inside them.
  Tamil Nadu Government should check them periodically like ISO.

  this is the funniest thing ive seen yet.
  its not the directors concern u fool its the parents concern.This is entertainment, look at thirudha thirudhi he grows up and same with boys if you cant see that well then.And even if all the stuff u want is taken out of the movies people wont change.Thats the responsibility of the parents.
