do you all know that rajini choosed raja for his new movie in march 2003 but now rajini had droped raja from his movie recently.this is because rajini has a music director's character in his movie and he asked raja to took the character but raja refused.because of his ego,he said that he could not acting while arr haven't acts in any movie so raja dont want to spoil his image.now the music director for rajini's movie is a.r. rahman but rahman didn't acts in this movie also but the music director's character goes to KS RAVIKUMAR.
BECAUSE OF HIS SILLY EGO AND STUPIDNESS HE MISSED RAJINI'S MOVIE AND HE COULD NOT GET ANY RAJINI'S MOVIE IN THE FUTURER

yes! stupid egoistic iLayaraaja
rajini asked IR to act -> IR declined -> IR was dropped.
rajini chose rahman -> Rahman did not act -> still rahman is doing music.
Rajini cannot make K.S.Ravikumar to act as a MD if IR is the MD it is because Stupid IR is Egoist. But this doesn't apply when Rahman is chosen as MD.
You know one very important thing? For the past 3 years monsoon has deceived Tamizhnaadu esp. chennai, it is all because this stupid IR was idiotically chosen to be the MD for the films Housefull, Bharathy, Kutti etc. In my flats water is not coming its all because of stupid egoistic mentality of IR.
Above all Shivaji died because of the egoistic mentality of IR which made BGM to be pathetic in Hey!Ram and Lajja.
What a Poor IR.

Every artist has his/her share of mature and immature fans.In Rajini's case the number of immature fans are more.:)
I think Rajini's mature fans will surely understand and appreciate the way Rajini works under restrictions.

It is really painful to see a lot of IR basing threads cropping up recently , every Tom , d** and harry talks ill about IR (iam talking about AVR) , iam an ardent fan or IR and rajini but any time i might be more biased towards IR than rajini, for i feel IR contribution is more than Rajini

i wud sort of think after 50 years people wud remember it as rajini songs more than IR songs (i am talking about only rajini songs here) much the same as we remember MGR songs. although rajini may never reach the ICON'ness of MGR or his career acheivements (because he has chosen not to do so and i am told he has lost his window of opportunity) oh! well..
but regarding the person who has started this thread. from the title posting, and i do mean to be insulting, if some didnt think so, i feel that the person is some half-witten nincompoop who constantly harrass others with vekaatha comments in formhub.com.
they get 30 mins with the computer 1'ce a year. and they visit sites and decide to throw in their contribution and run away! but their cok n bull story remains to be debated by other people.
threads like this r better ignored and they will go to the archives!

This is culturally wasting of time dear Indian friends. If at all Super* has choosen IR as the MD the news would have spread faster than the monsoon.
Super* had already played the role of an MD in Veera, supposedly opposed (after the released of the movie) by his closest allies! He was to carry heavy weapons (not box cutting knives for GOD's sake) in his films (as claimed by his HCF...).
And for that reason, he called Mr.P.Arunachalam to express how he felt the response for the movie VEERA. Does SUper* will do the role again & get the same blame ? Rediculous.
Secondly, is this news authenthicated? Will stop here. Don't waste our time. Thnx.

without knowing history and facts, u r posting something non-sense. IR got a chance to sit on the shouldiers of MSV and he excelled him. Samething did happen for ARR with IR.
We are not going to deny the acheivements of ARR. We are proud of one tamizian getting world recogniztion. At the same time please don't under estimate others.
I think more than music lover, you are ARR lover. Remember this newtfmpage is for music lovers and not for music director lovers.

IR is a far greater person. As some body had said here, it is his fate now a days that he is being commented by some nonsence people.
I very rarely post here now a days but I constantly browse newtfmpage. I have lost interest in posting because, there is nothing healthy going here.
I too have critisised IR, gave examples of his inspired songs, and raised my opinion against him at times, but now a days its getting worser. Every artist is bound to be critisised, but there is a limit and a genuinity should be first seen. Bashing IR like this in the name if ARR or Rajni (who is my superstar) is utterly unacceptable.
I will partly agree with Bharath that a rajni's song, after 50 years will be remembered more as rajni's song and not as IR's song. But, after 50 years, if a study material is prepared to award degree on TF evolution or history, then there will be a section on BGM and there will be many chapters on IR. I don't think rajni will have much place in such a study as a whole. IR will live longer even after his death. ALL IMHO.

Hi friends,
Music is the most common launguage of our world. ILLAYARAJA's music is splindid and you cannot compare his works with any other , especially when Raja mixes flute and violin. There is none in this century to mix these instrumernts to result in such fine tune of music that the music mixes with our blood. Illayaraja's music is like our wife who is a part of our life untill we end our life. Raja's music gets into our soul and takes us to places we haven't gone to. On hearing film songs like "Paruvame", Puttham puthu kaalai", "Senthoora poove" etc,.. takes me to back to the location where it has been filmed itself and the mood is as pleasent as the song itself. Raja has such a creativity in his songs that in no time his songs turn us to its period. In the film "Nathodi Thendral" hearing the song " Sandana marbilae" itself is enough which brings us the mood of the situation, the period of the film and the beauty of the location.
Raja's back ground music is where he is the Raja ( king) none to succed or either prevaied. His BG Scores are to die for.
I am always astonished at the way he performs and no better could a film enriched than Raja's BG music. To be precise, without his Back Ground Music, it would be the earth having no flowers at all but trees and plants alone.
It is not right to compare ILLAYARAJA with A.R.Rehman, it Rahman is miles away and nowhere is the time he could reach Raja's music. I have a good respect for Rahman. I shall just add a few words about Rahman's music and ask my fellow friends not to compare the greatest music genius nomore with anybody.
1. Raja' s music is like our wife althought we dont care for her still she is the truest of love.
Rehman's music is like a sexy women it just attracts for a while but you cannot live with the sexy women or either hear his music all the life long. You can sleep with her but cannot live with her.
2. Raja's music is that which mixes in our blood and touches our soul.
Rehmans music is life a instant coffe having nothing to do with our lives, you enjoy and forget his music at an instant moment.
3. Raja's music is from all real lively instruments giving the picture life, making us feel living with the picture itself.
Rahman's music is artificial, reminding us that we are watching a picture and being in a theater.
I can go on adding but let me stop and tell you that ILLAYARAJA is a God and Rehman is a follower of God.
Rehman is a good person and I have all the respect that he deserves.
Who ever gives good music they have to be appericated in that way I appericate Rehman for giving some good music.
Raja will live with us even after his death through his music , let us not forget to celebertae this great genius who is with us in this Era, presenting us an opportunity for us to hear his Music, on which we all have to be proud of.
I had to go to some extreme limits may be beyond limits to make understand the real vale of music, I may have hurt some of you please forgive me.
