AR Rahman experience in Chinese

AR Rahman has done well in Warriors of Heaven N Earth. You would have noticed his chinese bits form INDIAN - akadannu and EN SWASA KARRE jumbalaka . actually its a chinese bit copied into. I am a die hard ARR fan so don't reply in defence of AR Rahman that he did not copy. I listned to the "aayi aayi yaa" in a chinese sountrack 2-3years ago on Singapore Radio.

  The vocal samples are from a sample CD called Flamenco Sounds .The vocals are by a certain german musician Claus Zundel, who is considered a studio-wizard, much like our own A.R.Rahman. The sample and rhythm programming for the song was credited to Pravin Mani by A.R.Rahman. Pravin Mani, incidentally owns a music productions company called Mo'Mani in Toronto, Canada.

  Let's face it. Indian cinema, either Tamil or Hindi, doesn't offer a variety of projects for Rahman. Occasionally he'll get a historical film like The Rising in Hindi, but how many times can he do songs for love stories? If he's getting offers for interesting things like Warriors of Heaven and Earth or the stage adaptation of Lord of the Rings, you can't blame him for taking them.

  i hav a short story for u...probably u must b knowing this..there was a bucket full of water and lotta mice in that...and still easily one could tell that two mice were tamil mice...hehe..u know y...when all mice were helpin eah other in going up and outta water..these two mice was pushin one other in coming up and not tryin other to go up and in turn ended up dyin in water...
  moral is...when u end up in a profession u try reaching heights...goin places and not confining ur self in an area...but unfortunately v tamilians dun like it i suppose..v dun wan people going places...v wan them to b in tamil nadu...study only tamil...no hindi...and thas the reason y many tamilians struggle abroad..coz they meet indians who hav common language hindi and tamilians end up speakin in english...now is that true INDIAN ??? rahman is becomin an icon in music....people abroad r recognizing him as an ambassador from india for music.. he's makin v tamilians and hence indians proud...and when he is doin that, u guyz still complaint and want him to b here...so wat u want ??? want him to do another parasuram ?? ofcourse he wud go for lord of the rings...coz he has calibre...so question urself whether u r a true indian and then u can question others...and by the way u dun even know the spellin of vandemataram and u r talkin abt being an indian...shame on u.

  maddy correct-a thaanappa vandematharam spell panni irukkar? If you are too picky about it, 'tha' is actually correct and 'ta' is wrong.
  To be more precise, it should be Vandhe Matharam. Right?
  
  btw, Tamilians are struggling in abroad??! Where did you get that idea from? A lot of tamilians can speak Hindi quite well. How many Hindi guys you can show, who can speak tamil fluently? A lot of people from TN go to north, east and west of India and work there without any problems. You think they have language problem? No. They can survive anywhere bcos they can speak more than one language. Telugu people can speak Hindi as well. It's only the Hindi people who dont want to learn any other language. Please understand that.
  
  Hindi is the national language but not the common language. Unfortunately, there is no common language in India...if you think about it, it's English which is the common language in India. Dont you think?

  you are a good example of how a stupid IR fan who comes to ARR thread & trying to create havoc here..
  
  I don't find any flaws in ARR pronouncation of "Vande Mataram"..in fact its one of the brilliant album which were made in recent times..
  
  Why not you ask your IR to come up an album like Vande Mataram...then we can do the comparing..
  
  Also what happened to the so called Thiruvasagam Symphony??? did it start in the first place??
  
  And i can't believe that IR needs funding for this project:-) what a joke...don't tell me he doesn't have money,although he in TFM for more than 20 yrs...i think he spends to much of money on his kids..
  Good example, i read somewhere on YSR profile..he mentioned that his first car were BMW..
  
  WOW!!! IR must be rich enough to buy a BMW for YSR!!
  
  Also, why not u ask your IR to give something new instead of repeated tunes in "Pithamagan"..even the BGM in that movie is below average..IR simply had lost his touch long time ago, since the arrival of ARR..
  
  Even in Virumaandi, the songs are just OK..still below average compared to his earlier hits in early 80's...and the BGM is not so great, he uses the same BGM piece from the beginning till the ending of this film...
