HJ maintain his standard and quality.

Actually, Harris Jayaraj is not interested in composing music for films like ‘Saami’, ‘Kovil’ and ‘Arul’. He is very selective about his films because he wants to maintain his standard and quality.

  HJ can't even talk about Standard Fireworks and Kwality Icecreams, idhula music vaera! But it is true that he uses only high quality Rahman songs for copying and thus he maintains his standard!

  I would say HJ maintains his quality 1000 times better than ARR.As you say if HJ maintains devas quality,deva is better than ARR.
  
  After alaipayuthey HJ came out of ARR.What quality ARR maintained.Thenali,paravasam,parasuram,star,alli arjuna,udaya,KV,KKS,E20.Infact ARR could maintain his quality till alaipayuthe since HJ was with him.
  
  Tell me one thing why ARR could not make least one album as the best.HJ could make great album on his own without ARR.But ARR could not make even single album without HJ.Even thad BD he made using his old tunes.If ARR has his own creativity can he make a best album in front of HJ.

  all the albums in ur list are great from ARR cept alli arjuna and parasuram.and i realli wanna kno where d info comes from that says HJ was important to ARR cuz all he was was a sum instrument guy.and abt BD andrew lloyd wanted to use ARR's old stuff, but ARR said ill give u a few new ones too.

  but mine is that he has one hit(minnale) and 2 good songs in khaka khaka thats abt it everythin else is sorry repetition which makes for nuthin but avg music.

  xml.. dont u ever give up?! With that complete fiasco on that thread where u had a huge list of HJ's copied tunes and u gladly 'attributed' (Damn, I'm like that PG Wodehouse character who's stuck for words!) it all to Rahman, I expected u to downplay ur HJ fanatism for a lil while. Guess I got it wrong.
  HJ's got a long way to go, before he can be accepted as being someone who can be sure of giving us Music that's on a completely diff plane. All he's doing right now is hanging on to the "feel" of Rahman's music, churning out the same kinda songs over and over again...
  And jus coz songs like Manmadha Rasa are hits doesnt necessarily mean they are good. HJ's realised that these songs sell. And he's making sure he uses the same kinda stuff now. A lil relief for Rahman fans, coz he's trying to shake himself off the "Rahman effect"... but he's got into the habit of jumping into bandwagon - whatever's in vogue, he does just that. He should try to reinvent himself... He should have an identity of his own...
  Yuvan is no longer recognised as IR's son.. He's got his own identity.. his songs stand out.
  HJ needs to do jus that... He needs to stop being referred to as "That instrument guy"! :)
  
  phew! I feel I tend to get totally involved when i take some topic.. I was talkin of repetitions.. and that's exactly what i did!!
  I reitereated, repeated, said the same things over and over again...... :)

  Idha vida mutalthanamaa oru posting paathadhe illai,HJ helping Rahman to give good music..JOKE OF THE CENTURY,that poor HJ maintaining standards oh,go and hear his latest junk noise in GREAT 'standard' albums like 'Ullam ketkuma more'(??? what a name?surely my ullam is not wanting anymore torture),arasaatchi,kovil...lol,HJ will pack up soon.

  I agree with piratheeban only Alli arjuna and Parasuram were horrible, and this guy including KKS in the list..lol,an amazing album.If Rahman's quality went out,then why did the National award commitee selected Rahman as Best MD of 2002,HJ will never win such accolades,atleast till he is going to blindly produce some techno junk and call it as music

  HJ sellin more then ARR doubt that...
  
  oh i understand wat xml is sayin now by maintains his quality.If he has a hit he squeezes it into ALL his others until ppl get sick of it.
  
  Examples (i can think right off the top of my head note there r plenty others):
  
  Garden instrumental minnale he carries over to Majnu's Pinch Thendrale or sumthin
  
  Saami very end right before credit the chant he just uses to make a chant of arasakchi
  
  oh and this one is hilarious Saami's Kalyanthei Katikuta Odipolamma? and Kovil's Koku Meenai song the resemblence is sooooo everywhere. watch d videos and ull ask ur self didnt i see this already?same concept,director, md. listen to lyrics same type...asks one question then comes with another.
