ARR's interview in Sun TV

Can any one send us the transcript of ARR's interview yesterday. It will be a great help for many ARR fans who didnt get to watch the program

  I see the thread title on my title bar as "Mayilvaganam". So topic related-nu Murugar, Valli, Deivayaanai patri ellam sollalaamey! :P
  
  Murugar indha Mayil-ai nambi ulagatha suththa poi dhaan speed paththaama GnanaPazhaththai lose panninaar. MAK lubricant use pannirukkanum. MAK makes it possible.

  Let me start it off then. :P Kuttiest matter!
  
  Vijay TV-um Sun TV-um senja sadhi. Two programmes at the same time :-( Maaththi maaththi paarthaen.
  
  In SunTV interview, they showed some bits of the Sandai Kozhi song. May be that's there in the trailors, I don't know.
  
  Madhavan carries Meera into a house while it's raining (Ferrari!! Idhu dhaan nam kadhai situation-um!!)
  
  Everybody who spoke in the Aayidha Ezhuththu program praised Rahman very much. Others were as usual going "amazing", "athiradi isai" etc etc. But I remember clearly what Sidd said - "Moonu colours-um music-laye kaatti irukkaar Rahman Sir".
  
  Vairamuthu was giving the meaning of Aayidha Ezhuthtu and why Mani named it like that. Otherwise, Vairamuththu was at his usual best - blade!
  
  As known earlier, he also said that there were initially NO songs in Aayidha Ezhuththu. It seems Rahman said "Enna sir, unga pada paattu-na makkal ellam uyira viduvaanga, ippadi solreenga?" And the Mani asked for one music bit alone - Dol Dol. Appuram onnu onna add panni kadaseela we have 6 songs!
  
  ARR mentioned about working with SJSurya in his interview. It seems Surya used to come there with some tunes of his own and then make Rahman listen to it first and Rahman said "Sir, naan Music Director-nu oru padhavai-la irukkaen. Idhellam naan senja nalla irukkum." :-)

  ARR : first mani sir enkitta vanthu ....entha padithila n osngs ...only background score mattum thaan .....nu sonnaru ..seri ok na irunthen ...aprum ore oru bit piece song vennum naru ...we composed ...athuku pauram ore song ....enan sir ung padithila pattu illane na epadi nu ketten ....seri nu oru pattu compos epanninom ..then he wanted oen mre ..finally we ended up 6 songs

  'Mayilvaganan'nu oru famous Radio Ceylon announcer irundhaar. Avara pathi pesanuma?
  
  Illai 'Mayilvaaganm malarudal manamohanam' appdinu oru paattu irukku, adhoda details venuma?(Sashti Viradham/ 1983/ Devar Films). It was sung by Malaysia Vasudevan & PS. It was filmed on Sivakumar & Poornima Jayaram. Music was by S-G.

  As I said, I just kept changing channels. So, as far as I know he did not mention anything about Bombay Dreama.

  ARR : NewYork, London-la ellam eppadi trend-na, "aah indha music director indha oorla irukkara, appao avaraye music poda sollalaam"-nu irukkanga ellarum. Adhunaala naan andha oorla irundha dhaan projects kidaikkum. I don't wan't to miss those projects.

  Theres nothing to feel pathetic.
  He's got offers in Hindi and he is doing international projects, we rahman fans don't want him to dish out something like HJ or YSR just to be in TFM.
  And Hindi gives him much more scope by the size of the market.

  I feel Hindi will make his talents restricted ...Remember Hindi cinme will never accept which is carnatic or western classic ..Very less people talk about BGM and other things ...here only western POP /Rasjasthni /Punjabi will work ...
  
  I think he should take projects like Bombay dreams which gives him some scope for writing scores for orchestras ....I think unless he writes for big orchestras he will never have a full satisfaction of being a music composer

  Yeah, that's true. He sed he was looking forward to revive that project too.

  I was talking about the way he put it Thiru. With all modesty. Whether he got the offers or he avoided them, nobody knows.

  i think we will see him less in tamil, with his salary being close to a crore, and piracy hitting the markets so badly, producers might think twice to hire him.
  Though AE is doing extremely well selling over a lakh cass in 2 -3 days it remains to be seen if he continues in tfm.
  Thats why hindi gives him better scope.

  I think only 2 guys will go to arr; mani and shankar. arr rejected shankar's film and mani has not started thinking of his next film now.   ARR: "Actually I was in Malaysia and I slept (I don't sleep usually) and I had a strange dream with someone telling me to go to Haj Pilgrimage. I asked my friend abt that as I am always busy with work in america and such.
  My friend told me to go Haj immediately.
  And such as a rule, I had to remove my hair.
