  It looks like Simran is out of Rajnikanth’s magnum opus, Chandramukhi, due to her pregnancy. The role requires a lot of dancing and it would be risky for the actress to play it on screen. Remember that initially she had refused to comment, when press reported that she was in the family way.
  The mercurial actress had earlier walked out of Kicha Vayasu 16 when the bigger role in Chandramukhi came her way. After all it was her dream come true to act opposite the ultimate superstar of Tamil films.
  
  Now the producer Sivaji Productions is on a desperate hunt to find a heroine who can emote and dance well. Many names are being tossed around like Sada, Jyothika, Reema Sen and others. The decision has to be taken soon as the next schedule starts on 25 November in Mysore.

  Jyothika has replaced Simran for the lead role in Chandramukhi.
  After five years and 25 films Jo had only one regret – “Not having worked with Rajni Sir”, she had said in a recent interview.
  
  Now her dreams have come true, in a dramatic turn of events, when Simran was sacked after three days of shoot. Said Jo from the sets of Mass.. a Telugu film with Nagarjuna in Hyderabad to Sify.com: “It is a dream come true for me. I am really thrilled”.
  
  Jo has given nearly 50 days call sheet between December 10 and March 15. In a way she is the only south Indian heroine to have acted opposite three superstars like Chiranjeevi, Upendra and now Rajnikanth. Jo is also likely to do a film opposite Mohanlal in Malayalam for director Bhadran.
  
  She will be very busy for the next three months with films like Mass.., Surya’s Mayavi, Arjun’s Manikanda and now Chandramukhi with the ultimate superstar.
