Hi musiclovers!!!

newtfmpage has been a nice place for people to share what they know with each other. Many people help you with what you want and become your pals.

But how many of these faces have you seen?

How many have you met in person?

How many have you atleast spoken to over phone?

How many have you chat with on a Messenger?

How many have you atleast mailed?!

Get-togethers happen every now and then. I can see people shaking their heads violently in disagreement, but they do happen! Atleast ONE major get-together has happened to my knowledge.

  Chennai Mini Meet!

  Before I start off the summary, I would like to make a general comment a la Rajiv Gandhi....
  
  All TFM DFers are my brothers or sisters.

  Idhu podhum ippo...meet summary-ku povom... :-D
  
  This meet just had 3 people, three vetti people! There was nothing much that we talked in the meet. We would just start off with something and there would be a phonecall. So, the meet effectively had....
  
  Ferrari, magix, C~P, Saravanan, Maverick, Dhanya, Jacky and OISG!!
  
  First to arrive at the spot was magix. He arrived 15 mins early since he got down at the correct bus stop this time. Some 5 mins later, arrived Ferrari. Bike-la Hoodibaba-nu kaththikkittae vandhaaraam. The two of them spent some time naming people around them as Ambleen, Ashwathama, Naataamai etc etc. Ippadiye pozhuthu poikittu irukkarchae I came in my oattai scooty. For those of you who haven't seen it - Fred Flinstones vechicle-la top mattum kayattina eppadi irukkumo, appadi dhaan irukkum. After I came, I had the bagyam of looking at Ashwathama alone. Ambleen and Naatamai were gone :-(
  
  Jacky had called me up earlier and said that he would make it at around 4:45. So, we guys were waiting outside for sometime looking around for Jacky. As usual we picked out a "maraththadi" like naatamais and sat there talking about the sandais at newtfmpage. Vara vara sandai romba jaasthiya poachu paarunga. Mahatma Gandhi vazhiyila idhellam ozhikkardha paththi Abdul Kalam kitta phone panni pesinom.
  
  Saravanan called up while we were still waiting for Jacky. It was a surprise to see some synhronisation - magix opened his mouth and his larynx worked, simultaneously. This is definitely something that should be brought to the notice of Suresh Ji who had started a "Guinness Record" thread. He was loud enough to be heard by Saravanan in Dubai-na paarthukkongalaen! Ferrari and myself mainly talked to him about Chennai city. He knew practically everything. Enakku ennavo doubt-aavey irukku, ivara kaettu dhaan PinCode ellam vechaangalo-nu. He knew everything from Parangi Malai Jothi Theatre to Thiruvatroyur Kumar Theatre. We even talked about Kupps, who confused me in chat saying that there were two Saligramam's in Chennai!! Avaru innoru thani piravi, rendu Saligramathoda pincode koduththu sarithramae sonnaru. As usual, pesinadhu puriyala! Ferrari en maela pazhiya poattaru, for not meeting at Ispahani!! Paavi, I never said any such thing!! :-D
  
  After we spoke to Sara, we waited for some more time. Appo Ferrari oru thaththuvam sonnaru - about why he's lost lotsa hair (thalai mudi). Adhu Autumn Season range-ku compare ellam panni sonnaru. Inga ivalo dhaan solla mudiyum! :-)
  
  Jacky vara maadhiri illai. So, we went inside the restaurant. Adhisiyama PBS illai. Vote poda poirundhaar ninaikkaraen. We sat down and Ferrari asked the server what was available. Varisiya niraya sonnaru, semma fastaa sonnaru...adhunaala Ferrari-a edhaavadhu thittinaaro-nu kooda engalukku doubt. Oru yezhavum puriyala!! Order pannanumnu sonnara, panna koodaathunu sonnara-nu puriyala. Ippadi aal aalukku lookku vittuttu, each of us ordered for a Masala Dosai.
  
  Saapdum poadhu Maverick called up. I'll put down as much as I remember...
  Maverick : Dei, Enna da?
  C~P : Enna?
  Maverick : Meet eppadi podguthu?
  C~P : Moonu paeru dhaan. Ippo dhaan ellarum Masala Dosai maenjittu irukkom.
  Maverick : Moonu paera? Idhu meet-a? Bangalore-la irukkardhoda oruththan jaasthi. Idhu meet-nu nadaththittu irukeengala?
  C~P : Idhellam unga nanbar kitta sollunga. Naan vaendaamnu sonnaen, avardhaan adam pudichu eppadiyum meet pannanumnu sonnaru.
  Maverick : Avan kadakkaan.
  C~P : Irunga, avar kitta kodukkaraen.
  
  Ferrari : Iruda, vaai illadha poochi kitta kodukkaraen.
  
  Magix : Hello.
  Maverick : *silent*
  Magix : Hello??
  Maverick : Summa dhaan. Unna maadhiri pesi paarthaen.
  
  Magix spoke for some time (innikku ennavo niraya pesinaan. Theliva irundhaan-nu dhaan ninaikkaraen!!) which I obviously do not know. Pesardhae periya vishayam, idhula saththam poattu pesardha expect pannardhellam over.
  
  Masala Dosai ullae erangumboadhu, magix pakkathula oru vellai poonai irundhuchu. Avan adha "cute-a" konjinaan-nu Ferrari sonnaru. Ellathayum cute-a seyyardhu dhaaney avan vazhakkam, pudhusa onnum illa.
  
  Ferrari was now talking about some messages which he had sent Dhanya and ava adhukku eppadi as usual tension paduththara alavukku reply pannina. Kaekka tamaas-a irundhuchu! :-D
  
  Dhanya called up next. Magix did not speak for a long time as he said he couldn't hear what she was speaking. Illaena evalo dhooram vaazhndhirukkum-nu theriyala, but still I believe him coz enakkum seriya kaekkala! :-)
  
  Ferrari spoke something. I was away washing my hand, so don't know what he talked about. All I could gather from Magix's facial expression was that Dhanya total damage!! :-)
  
  After I came back, oorukkae kaththi solraapla he started talking and gave the phone to me...
  Ferrari : Aamam, un thambikku nee eppo Rakhi katta poraennu sollu. Avankittaye kodukkaraen.
  C~P : Hello.
  Dhanya : *silent*
  C~P : Hello. Pesi tholaiyaendi.
  Dhanya : Pesikittu dhaanda irukkaen. Un kaadhu seriyaana dammaaram.
  C~P : Kaththi dhaan pesaen.
  Dhanya : Rakhi dhaaney, adhu periya matter illa. Aana Rakhi kattina nee edhaavadhu gift-a kodukkanum. Kuduppiya?
  C~P (to Ferrari) : Ennapa, gift ellam kaekkara? Selavu aagum pola irukkae.
  Ferrari : Adhu problem illa. Beach-la shells poriki gift-nu koduthidalaam.
  C~P : Appo seri di. Adhaan gift-a kidaikkum.
  Dhanya : *silent*
  C~P : Ennadi pesavey maataengara?
  Dhanya : Neeyum un kaadhum. Ennala idhukku maela kaththa mudiyaadhu.

  After this was done...we ordered for some juice. Ferrari had mango juice, magix had lime and I had grape.
  
  Jacky called up in the meanwhile and he said he wouldn't be making it to the meet. We did not speak lots to him. Meet summary ezhutha sonnaru ozhunga, but, I told him there was nothing much to summarise. (ippo I guess, it's pretty much decent!!)
  
  Appuram veleela vandhu we were talking for some time. Idhuvum vetti paechu dhaan. More personal, as in things which we chat on YM. So inga solli prayojanam illai. Sonnalum, I would have to explain so many other stories. Adhellam vaendaam! :-D
  
  Ippo dhaan we got a surprise call...

  This is just one part of what they spoke, which magix told me on YM.

  And I don't know exactly what Ferrai spoke. The little that I did, I heard him talking about me. Ennai oru manmadha rasa range-ku uyarthi vechu damage pannikittu irundhaar! :-) I heard him saying "C~P mudhal-la imagine pannarchae, I thot of him in a swimming pool, with a cooling glass and 4-5 gals around him" and "Ivana varuvaan-nu therinju dhaan andha kaalathulaye Theeraadha Vilayaattu Pillai-nu paadirukkanga".
  
  Idhukku maela nijamaavey onnum kaekkala enakku. Vaera enna yezhavellam solli vechirukkaro. Avara sonna dhaan theriyum! :-)
  
  Btw...OISG nick-la irukkara Vishamam, kural-la illa...I couldn't believe that was OISG! :-)
  
  By the time we finished talking to OISG, the time was 6 and I had to leave. Tata sonnom, udaney magix oru oattam odinaan! Iru da, enna avasaram, vitta podhum-nu odariye-nu kaettom..innum fast-a odinaan! :-)
  
  So, nothing much which we talked in the meet. Enga interactions-oda phone calls dhaan jaasthi. I've given what I spoke and whatever else I knew. Adhu evalo perusa vandhadhey periya aacharyam. Baakki versions avunga dhaan sollanum. One summary might just not be enough!

  Hmmm... C~P hasnt missed much. But here are a few things he did.
  C~P semma style-a entry vittaan avan scooty-la.. Endrendrum Punnagai-la Maddy vitta scene onnume illai ivana compare pannina. Adha Ferrari Bharathiraja range-ku camera angles ellam potu varnichaar. Enna varnichaar-nu inga solla mudiyaathu though!!
  
  Politics paththi ellam kooda pesinom.. here's the detailed discussion:
  Ferrari: innikku 6:30-ke vote potenpa..
  C~P: enakku Voter's id illa.
  Magix: enakkum illa.
  Any country would feel proud of such sincere citizens. :)
  
  And yeah.. I felt really proud of myself.. I talked!!
  Sara was so overwhelmed hearing my voice that he remained silent! The power of oration! ;) Aana onnu, there was a constant echo.. naan en voice-a ketu adhirchi-la appappo distract aaiten!
  
  Maverick-um Ferrari-yum pesindadha kaeta MMKR dialogues thaan nyaabagam vandhudhu.. Pullippu muttai mattum thaan solaama vittaaru!! idhukku elaboration-nu onnu thevai patta, Ferrari solluvaaru!
  
  That poonai kutti somehow didnt seem to trouble C~P and Ferrari.. Pakkathu table lendhu when one guy called it saying "chu chu", Ferari aadi putaar! He thot HE was being called! Rakesh vandhutaaro-nu tension!!
  
  Dhanya kitta perumaya soleendom.. that we ate unburnt Dosai. She was amazed that such a thing existed! [Illai.. I'm not making ne kinda snide references to her culinary skills, or am i?! :)] Aana onnu. Semma MR fan. Padathula vara maariye pesina. Onnum kekkala!

  The surprise of the day came when OISG called. Semma jaaliya pesinaar. He was also happy that newtfmpage was successful in finding a varan for the most eligible bachelor in the forum! It took some time for me to confirm that the s'pore varan wasnt paran! Yasho-nu veroruthi!! Romba ullara aarambichuten-nu i handed the phone back to these guys!
  
  Hmmm.. C~P naan odinadha mention pannumbothu thaan nyaabagam varuthu. Padikanam. Ippovum odanam!
